The present invention relates to a massage unit, which contains a vibrator within a flexible long cylindrical piece, so that the user can hold both ends of the unit and apply it freely to any desired site of the body, which could not be reached by the conventional massage unit without the help of another person. The unit can be held on the affected site, and the user can continue office work, cooking or learning, while enjoying the effects of massage. Since the user finds no difficulty in applying and holding the unit to the affected site, the unit can offer more effective massage effects in relaxing the muscle stiffness, enhancing blood circulation, etc. In one embodiment the long massage unit can be bent to any desired shape, which shape is retained by a plastically deformable metal, such that the user can apply the bent long massage unit around any part of the body without having to continue holding the massage unit.
A personal massage device that allows a person to apply a vibrating massage to his own back. The unique shape of the device allows the operator to hold it comfortably with one or both hands, while pressing the vibrating head of the device against his back. The device has a modified "J" shape, containing a straight main handle, a curved extension with a vibrator device located at the end, and a straight supplementary handle attached to the main handle at a right angle. A conveniently placed switch in the supplementary handle allows the operator to turn the vibrating device on or off while it is being held in its operating position. Interchangeable massage heads can be employed to vary the type of massage available from the device.
A vibrating tampon apparatus 10 for easing a woman's menstrual cramps wherein the apparatus 10 includes an inner vibrator unit 12 and an outer tampon unit 11 surrounding the vibrator unit 12 which includes a vibrator motor 36 which is actuated by a tampon string 25 for imparting vibratory motion to the apparatus 10.
An ankle massaging device which is constructed in the general shape of a "U" while the curved position of the massaging device rests on a top of a user's foot, each end of the massaging device is positioned on opposite sides of a user's ankle while battery powered massaging devices are located in each end of the device and soft massaging protrusions are located on interior surfaces of the ends and corresponds with menstrual cycle pressure points located on a user's ankle whereby the massaging device helps relieve menstrual cycle cramps for the user.
A vibrating device having a body with a hollow including a shaft portion and an impression portion within the hollow which corresponds to the shape of a casing which encloses a motor and spinner. A plug and sheath having dimensions corresponding to the shaft portion of the hollow is wedged into the hollow after the casing has been placed in the impression portion of the hollow.
A vibrating neck rest particularly adapted for attachment to and use in conjunction with a passenger seat a motor vehicle, the vibrating neck rest including a cushion, the cushion being substantially elongated and having a major longitudinal axis, a vibration unit disposed within the cushion for producing a vibration on at least a portion of a surface of the cushion, a pair of tubes, one each of the pair of tubes extending outward from an opposing side of the vibration unit, the pair of tubes extending outward from the vibration unit substantially parallel to the major longitudinal axis of the cushion, a pair of hammer members, one each of the hammer members being attached to a distal end of one each of the tubes, an attachment apparatus for attaching the cushion to the passenger seat of the motor vehicle, and a control mechanism for altering at least one characteristic of the vibration produced by the vibrating apparatus, the control mechanism being movable to a point remote from the cushion.
