Abstract
A tubing angle bend assembly including a length of flexible tubing is provided with a clip mounting the tubing to bend the tubing through a pre-selected angle. The clip has an arcuate body and has radially inwardly extending retaining structure flanking either end for retaining the tube in resilient fit against the spine of the clip. A central retainer finger of the clip extends radially inwardly and beneath the tubing to maintain the tubing against the spline of the clip without collapsing the tubing. An opening between the central retainer finger and the spine of the clip allows resilient passage of the tubing into and out of the clip. Thus, the tubing is retained within the clip by the retaining structure and the central retainer finger to smoothly bend the tubing through the pre-selected angle.

7090154 - Tap - Owned by Hornbeam Ivy Limited (Somerset,GB)

A tap has a flexible hose for delivering water and a support for the flexible hose. The support comprises a channel with an open mouth along its length. The flexible hose is removably mounted in the channel such that it is supported along at least the majority of its length and can be removed by lifting out of the mouth of the channel. When removed from its support the flexible hose extends the reach of the tap, and when mounted in the support it is kept in an orderly position where it does not interfere with e.g. washing and cooking. The tap can be wall or deck mounted. Preferably the channel is U-shaped and has a semi-circular cross section, which conforms to the shape of the hose. The hose may have a spray head at its distal end.

7216676 - Apparatus and method for shaping hose - Owned by Eaton Corporation (Cleveland, OH)

A shaped hose assembly includes a length of hose having an external surface and a hose form including a non-continuous, generally curved wall that extends around the circumference of the external surface of the hose. The wall includes a first axially extending end and a second axially extending end. The hose form also includes at least one bend of predetermined radius. A method for shaping hose is also provided.

7434770 - Pipe, tubing and conduit support and retainer - Owned by Schmidt; William R. (Griffin, GA)

A device for retaining and supporting pipes having a central curved section between two linear ends and being open to receive one or more pipes therein and serving to protect the pipe from being kinked or bent during construction and post-construction activities. The sides or arms of the device may be extended and bendable such that a pipe may be inserted between the arms and therefore held in place by a spring force. The device may be attached to wall studs or other structures through the use of plumbing straps, which can be weaved through slots in the device to securely hold the pipe(s) in place.

7198066 - Device for supporting and stabilising a tubing for fluid transport and such a tubing - Owned by Novarix Ltd., Oxford Centre for Innovation (Oxford,GB)

The present invention relates to an anti-kinking device, in particular for supporting and stabilising an infusion tubing for fluid infusion in a safety loop, comprising means for receiving and fixing the infusion tubing in connection with a catheter inserted into a superficial vein or the like and connected to an infusion container via the infusion tubing, said device being fixable to a patient in order to relieve the tension of the tubing at the point of insertion. This provides a device for flexible support of an infusion tubing to create a safety loop in a simple and flexible manner.
