Abstract
A tool case, which includes a plurality of pairs of casings respectively connected in series by means of connecting strip portions therebetween, permitting two casings to relatively turn outward with the adjacent two casings capable of being relatively turned inward so that the intermediate casings can be completely received in a space which is defined by the first and the last casings when the first and the last casings are relatively turned inward to close up together. The casings comprises a variety of recess holes for receiving a variety of hand tools. The first and the last casings have hand-hold portions which can be incorporated together for the holding of the hand when the casings are relatively closed up together.

The inner tray extends into the second and fourth tool receiving compartments when the inner tray and the second casing cover are in the respective folded positions. The inner tray confines a fifth tool receiving compartment therein.

A tool box includes two upper covers each having an upper flange provided an upper clasp and a lower flange provided with a lower clasp which are configured to engage firmly with an upper and lower recesses of the base so as to keep the upper covers firmly engaged with the base, the upper cover being formed with a first groove at the upper flange and a second groove at the lower flange, the upper covers being provided with two parallel tracks a base formed with an upper flange and a lower flange respectively having two first grooves and two second grooves, the base being formed with two parallel tracks, two connecting members for joining together the upper covers with the base, the two connecting members having two parallel tracks, and two detachable containers having an upper raised edge and a lower raised edge configured and dimensioned to be sidably engaged with the grooves of the upper covers and the grooves of the base, whereby the two detachable containers can slide on a top of the base thereby increasing the capacity for receiving tools and causing much convenience in use.

A combination-type tool box comprises a polygonal main body and a plurality of receiving boxes fastened pivotally with the main body such that the receiving boxes can be rolled in series to rest against the longitudinal sides of the main body. The toolbox has a primary case, two add-on cases and four pivot pins. The primary case has a front casing and a rear housing. The rear casing has two pivoting sides, two locking hinges and multiple hinge barrels. The add-on cases are pivotally attached to the pivoting sides and each has a connecting casing and a pivoting housing. Each connecting casing is attached to one of the pivoting sides and each has multiple hinge barrels and a resilient clamp. Each pivoting casing is attached to the corresponding connecting casing oppositely to the rear casing and has a locking hinge, multiple hinge barrels and a slice. The pivot pins are separately pass through the locking hinges and the corresponding hinge barrels of the rear housing, the corresponding hinge barrels of the connecting casing and the locking hinges and the corresponding hinge barrels of the pivoting housing.

A tool box having (a) a first half having two first recesses formed therein, two anchors formed in the first recesses, two second recesses formed therein and two pairs of claws formed in the second recess and (b) a second half having two first recesses formed therein, two anchors formed in the first recesses, two second recesses formed therein and two pairs of claws formed in the second recess. The pairs of claws formed on the first half are insertable in the first recesses formed in the second half while the pairs of claws formed on the second half are insertable in the first recesses formed in the first half. The first half is then slidable relative to the second half so that the anchors and the pairs of claws formed on the first half respectively engage with the pairs of claws and the anchors formed on the second half. The first half is restrained from traveling relative to the second half in a direction being perpendicular to the first and second halves.
