A simulated car phone includes a handset unit configured to resemble an operational car phone. The handset unit includes a simulated keypad and a simulated signal cord. A radio frequency receiver is provided in the handset for receiving signals from a small remote battery powered unit radio frequency transmitter. A battery powered audio tape player in the handset unit produces simulated telephone ring signals through an audio speaker. The audio tape player is actuated by switching circuitry in the handset unit on reception of radio signals produced by manual actuation of the remote transmitter. The device provides an amusing and inexpensive novelty item which may be used in conjunction with simulated car phone antennas to amuse and impress an individual's friends and acquaintances.
A camouflaged item holder for holding at least one item, such as a gun or the like, in a vehicle, such as a car or the like, includes a lid and a housing having an interior with an opening for holding at least one item. When the lid is in a closed position, the lid and housing appear like a single unit having a function other than holding an item, such that the presence of the at least one item inside the interior of the housing is camouflaged. The lid has the appearance of a portion of an electronic device and is dimensioned to cover the opening to the interior of the housing. The lid may be coupled to the housing by at least one hinge so that the lid can be opened and closed, and the housing may include at least one mounting structure that can couple the housing to the vehicle. The camouflaged gun holder may also include a lock mechanism to secure and lock the lid to the housing when the lid is in the closed position.
A toy, such as a toy pager or a toy telephone, generates an attention signal and plays a recorded message to the user. The attention signal is generated in a seemingly random fashion to simulate the operation of a real pager or telephone.
A play pager combined with a lollipop which combines candy with pager sounds. The pager includes an integrated circuit programmed to produce different pager sounds as different switches are closed. An amplifier amplifies the signals and a speaker produces the sounds. A lollipop holder is provided for raising the lollipop to an up position from a down position and from a down position to an up position.
A system of remotely actuated novelty devices is disclosed having triggering and actuating components packaged in separate, interchangeable modules. The system includes several interchangeable trigger modules, each of which detects the occurrence of an activating event and in response generates a trigger signal of finite duration, and several interchangeable action modules, each of which performs a prank in response to a trigger signal. Each action module includes a battery that powers the action module and any trigger module connected to it.
A testing device and method for testing a printed circuit board (PCB) for a remote keyless entry fob includes a battery simulator cell to simulate the effects of a remote keyless entry fob battery. The battery simulator cell is located in an upper portion of a testing device housing and is preferably a brass or copper mass of the same size, shape and mass of a typical battery. The lower portion of the housing has a mount for the PCB. At least one circuit board locator is mounted to the upper portion of the housing to apply pressure to the PCB to retain the PCB in the correct position during testing, and to ensure the proper distance between the PCB and the battery simulator cell. A receiving antenna is located proximate the test device for receiving a signal.
