Abstract
A plastic primary pan assembly for use in conjunction with an air conditioning system which includes a C-shaped drain plastic pan, a pan cover having a raised portion disposed around a blow outlet thereof, and an U-shaped supporting bracket having a pair of locking end members and a pair of elongated channels and an elongated aperture being mounted on the fan cover and a motor through a motor plate, whereby the plastic primary pan assembly can be easily associated with and separate from the air conditioning system and easily adjusted to incline the plastic primary pan for draining condensate water through an outlet disposed in the plastic primary pan.

6196015 - Box for feeding of inner units of air-conditioning systems

A built-in box (1) for the feeding of inner units of air conditioning systems having a hollow element (2) substantially shaped as a parallelepiped, the hollow element having open base and the inside of the bottom (22) provided with a plurality of ribs (24). The built-in box (1) also has a small tank (3) for the drainage of the condensate, the tank (3) being positioned in correspondence with the open base of the hollow element (2) and being provided with at least a section of pipe (33) connecting it to the drain pipe (8) of the building main system. A substantially flat cover (4) can be fixed to the edge of the tank (3).

5117650 - Plastic pan assembly for use in air conditioners and refrigerators - Owned by Permanent Solution Industries, Inc. (Falls Church, VA)

A primary pan assembly for use in conjunction with an air conditioning system, which includes two primary plates and a silicon rubber cover which are assembled together to form the primary pan which includes a lower cylinder to be disposed at the assembled pan during installation thereof so as to pass a pair of built drain pipes through the lower cylinder, whereby the plastic primary pan can easily be assembled with the silicone rubber plate and tightly attached to the pair of built drain pipes.

6474092 - Apparatus and method for a blower cover

A blower cover and an air conditioner using such blower. A rollable sheet is locked between two side plates by rollable connectors. A belt plate is secured between the side plates to lock the rollable sheet between the side plates. The belt plate also directs air from the blower. The blower cover can easily be assembled at a work site without welding or expert metal working. The blower cover is used in an air conditioner in which air is forced upwards from the blower and the air is directed into a heat exchange unit by one or more air deflectors. Another air deflector directs air coming out of the heat exchanger in an upwardly direction out of the air conditioner and this air deflector also directs any condensate downwards toward a drain system generally located below the heat air conditioner.

6070425 - Air-conditioning apparatus - Owned by DENSO Corporation (Kariya,JP)

In an air conditioning apparatus, an evaporator is disposed in an air-conditioning case to be inclined relative to a horizontal direction and to form a lower space below the evaporator. Air flows through the evaporator from a lower side toward an upper side thereof in the air-conditioning case. The lower space is partitioned by a partition member into an air-blown space and a drain space, and a drain guide member is disposed in the drain space to approximately contact a lower end portion of the inclined evaporator, where condensed water is gathered. Therefore, it can prevent air from hitting from below against the lower end portion of the evaporator. Consequently, the condensed water that has been gathered at the lower end portion of the inclined evaporator can be discharged rapidly along the drain guide member without being affected by the flow of air, and drips to a bottom surface of the air-conditioning case. Thus, draining-efficiency of condensed water generated on the evaporator can be improved effectively.

5787721 - Easily removable drain pan and funnel arrangement - Owned by American Standard Inc. (Piscataway, NJ)

A drain spout that is easy to remove for cleaning and for accessing components behind or proximal to the drain pan. Instead of directly connecting the drain hose to the drain pan outlet spout, the drain hose connects to a drain funnel attached to or formed as a part of the shelf supporting the drain pan. The drain pan itself sits on the shelf and the outlet spout of the drain pan fits within the shelf funnel without a positive connection. The drain pan can be lifted out without disengaging the drain hose.
