A paint applicator designed to effectively paint a given surface area such as a wall, ceiling or the like including an applicator roll rotatably mounted within a housing and further including a secondary applicator element attached to the housing and configured to transfer paint to a surface junction of surfaces being painted as well as partially define a return path of excess paint flowing back to the applicator or interior portions of the housing.
An applicator for paint and coatings includes a housing, roller, brush, spreader, and handle. The roller, brush, and spreader are positioned on the housing so that they can each be used independently of one another and so that any combination of them can be engaged at any time while the applicator is in use.
An improved coater includes a handle, a frame attached to the handle, a roller rotatably housed within the frame, wherein the roller has a substantially increased width and pile height for more quickly and accurately spreading a coating liquid to a surface. The frame includes a spatter shield having a first radius of curvature larger than the diameter of the roller and a squeegee member having a radius of curvature which is less than the radius of curvature of the spatter shield and which extends in a direction opposite to the radius of curvature of the spatter shield.
A paint roller incorporates a free end cap having a tab or tabs capable of being rotated into a position that prevents the paint roller's cylindrical brush from sliding over the end cap when painting.
A paint roller incorporates a free end cap capable of receiving a retainer that prevents the paint roller's cylindrical brush from sliding over the free end cap when painting.
A liquid coating applicator for use with a plurality of adjacent basins separated by a partition includes a support having a handle portion, a first liquid applying medium coupled to the support and having a first applicating surface extending in a plane and a second liquid applying medium coupled to the support and having a second applicating surface extending in the plane. The first and second liquid applying mediums are spaced from one another so as to form a slot therebetween. The slot is configured to receive the partition such that the first and second applicating surfaces of the first and second mediums may be simultaneously received within the first and second basins to load the first and second mediums with different liquid coatings.
