A crystal ball has a rotatable and vertically movable liquid dispensing spout inside a glass ball. The crystal ball also has a fixture frame for converting the rotational motion of a flexible shaft driven by a music box or bell into a rotational and a reciprocal axial movement for a main shaft. The fixture frame is comprised of a lower lid having a sinusoidal guide rail on the inner walls that is engaged by axial projections or columns depending from the sides of an upper lid. Also a pump housing is associated with the upper lid of the fixture frame, and a piston disk sleeved at a proper position on the main shaft, produces a compression as a result of its relative motion in the space defined by the housing. The piston pumps a colorful fluid loaded in the housing of the pump up to the spout for a sprayed ejection which produces the effect of a kaleidoscopical, dynamic variation of a fantastic crystal ball.

The apparatus has an expansion member internally disposed underneath a body to expand during absorption of liquid or to shrink during evaporation of the liquid; a medium member disposed above the expansion member to upwardly move according to expanding force of the expansion member; a restoring member coupled to an upper side of the medium member to downwardly move the medium member according to resilience; and a plurality of petal members respectively hinged to periphery of the body, each at a predetermined height to unfold outwardly when the medium member descends or to fold inwardly when the medium member ascends. Attentively, the apparatus has a flexible member coupled to an upper side of the body to flexibly move vertically according to expansion or shrinkage of the expansion member; and a plurality of petal members respectively attached to center and peripheral sides of the flexible member, each distanced at a predetermined space relative to the upper side of the flexible member to outwardly unfold when the upper side of the flexible member is convexly and upwardly elongated or to inwardly fold when the upper side of the flexible member is concavely and downwardly shrunk.

A new simulated blooming flower for simulating the blooming of a flower when water is added. The device includes a container having a sieve therein which defines a reservoir. The sieve has a plurality of drainage apertures. An elongate stem extends from the sieve with the lower end of the stem positioned adjacent the sieve. A rod is disposed in the stem and a float is disposed in the reservoir and coupled to the lower end of the rod. Coupled to the upper end of the stem is a simulated flower having a plurality of simulated petals which are positionable between a closed position and an open blooming position. A plurality of actuating members is provided within the flower with upper ends of the actuating members positioned adjacent to the petals of the flower and lower ends of the actuating members positioned over the stem. A stamen assembly pushes the actuating members when the stamen assembly is upwardly extended such that the petals of the flower member are moved towards the blooming position.
