Abstract
A feeding device for a rock drilling machine (3) comprising a cradle (1); and a feeding beam (2) mounted longitudinally displaceably with respect to the cradle (1), the drilling machine (3) being displaceable along the feeding beam. Displacing means comprise a chain (6) forming a closed loop, being arranged to move around turning wheels (4, 5) provided at both ends of the feeding beam (2), and connected stationary with respect to the drilling machine (3). The drilling machine (3) is arranged to be connected stationary with respect to the feeding beam (2) over its whole range of movement relative to the feeding beam (2) and the feeding beam (2) with respect to the cradle (1) over its whole range of movement relative to the cradle (1).

6009957 - Arrangement in a feed beam of a rock drill - Owned by Tamrock Oy (FI)

In the arrangement, a feed beam made of an aluminum profile comprises a slide guide frame, whereby the outer surface of the slide guide frame and respectively, the inner surface of the slide guide are shaped and dimensioned in such a manner that when the slide guide is on the slide guide frame, they are tight against one another. The other edge of the slide guide flame and respectively, the corresponding edge of the slide guide are shaped in such a manner that when the slide guide is mounted in place, its edge is shape-locked relative to the slide guide frame. The slide guide is also secured by separate securing mechanism to the feed beam in such a manner that it cannot move either in the cross or longitudinal direction relative to the feed beam.

5226488 - Truck mounted boring system - Owned by bor-mor Inc. (Lino Lakes, MN)

A truck mounted boring system providing a high degree of radial and longitudinal freedom. The system provides a method of quickly setting up a boring system used for directional drilling of underground cabling bore holes. A hydraulic system providing power to the boring system is run by a power take off of a truck. The truck is used to position the boring system. The boring system employs a rotatably mounted hydraulic actuator which radially and axially changes the orientation of the drilling system. The drill bit is driven into a boring hole using a linear chain drive. The chain drive is mounted on a boring platform that can achieve motion relative to the truck or drive the drill toward the bore hole in response to a restraining bar.

7100709 - Feed table pivot pin constraining device - Owned by Metso Minerals Industries, Inc. (Milwaukee, WI)

A restraining arrangement for limiting the separation of a feed table having a pivot pin and a positioner block of a mobile track drill. The restraining arrangement includes a first constraint device positioned on the positioner block and a second constraint device secured to the feed table. The first constraint device, consisting of a bushing having a pair of extending ears, is retained within a pair of female constraint members each having a recessed groove. The recessed groove formed in each of the pair of female constraint members is sized to receive the extending ears to allow the bushing and the female constraint members to rotate relative to each other while limiting the separation between the feed table and the positioner block along the rotational axis of the pivot pin.
