The overlay film of the invention is obtained by forming a substrate layer composed of a resin composition comprising an ethylene copolymer such as ethylene-methacrylic acid ester copolymer and the like and a crystalline polyolefin having a melting point of 110.degree. C. or higher on at least one side of the base layer composed of a crystalline polyolefin and the like by any method such as co-extrusion-laminating and the like followed by cooling. The overlay film is excellent in physical properties such as the anti-blocking property and the like and gives a metal-deposited film with brilliant appearance exhibiting high adhesive strength to the metal layer by vapor-deposition treatment. The metal-deposited film is serviceable for extensive uses including wrapping materials.
A laminate film having two olefin type films, a heat resistant film with a vapor deposition coat of aluminum oxide on each surface thereof and a heat adhesion resin layer for joining the olefin type films to the heat resistant film. Instead of the heat resistant film and the heat adhesion resin layer, an oriented film of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer and a co-extrusion resin layer including a heat adhesion resin layer and an olefin type resin layer may be used. The heat adhesion resin layer is maintained in a heating state for a predetermined time when the laminate film is manufactured.
A laminated film exhibiting excellent interlayer adhesiveness obtained by extrusion-laminating a resin directly on a polyester film without effecting anchor-coating or without treating the molten film of the extrusion-laminated resin with ozone. The laminated film is obtained by extrusion-laminating, onto the polyester film, an ethylene copolymer containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid and a (meth)acrylic acid ester, which may be further blended with a small amount of an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer having a density of 840 to 900 kg/m.sup.3, the amount of the unsaturated carboxylic acid component being from 1 to 12% by weight and the amount of the (meth)acrylic acid ester component being from 2 to 25% by weight.
This invention relates to a metallized polypropylene film made from polypropylene/acid terpolymer blends and the process for the manufacture thereof. The acid terpolymer is composed of an ester monomer, an acid monomer and ethylene.
A resin molded component, comprising metal coating treatment being provided on the surface by a physical deposition method chosen from among sputtering, vacuum deposition, and ion plating after the surface is activated by plasma treatment, and is produced by forming a resin composition combined a base resin comprising of a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin with a rubber-like elastic material.
