Abstract
There is disclosed a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin and 5 to 300 parts by weight of metal hydroxides composed of 50% by weight or more of magnesium hydroxide, and may further containing 20 to 120 parts by weight of glass fibers and 30 to 80 parts by weight of talc.

A polyphenylenesulfide composition for powder coating is disclosed. The composition comprises polyphenylenesulfide resin powder and hydrophobic silica, wherein the hydrophobic silica is added to said resin powder in the form of ultrafine particles in an amount of 0.05 to 0.6% by weight of hydrophobic silica based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the ultrafine particles have been subjected to a surface hydrophobic treatment by a silylating agent, and wherein the primary particles of ultrafine particles of the hydrophobic silica have an average diameter of 0.1 .mu.m or less.
