A free access floor comprising a plurlaity of units juxtaposed to both traversing and vertical direction, each unit comprising two right-angled triangular plates and first, second and third rectangular covers. Two triangular plates are so arranged to constitute a rectangle by facing their hypotenuses to each other. Two other side of each triangular plate have steps. Each triangular plate has three legs at its corners. The first, second and third rectangular covers are rested on the steps of the triangular plates. The triangular plate can be formed as a right-angled isosceles triangle, the first and the second rectangular covers can be formed as identical, and the third rectangular cover can be formed as a square. Each unit can be so arranged that the hypotenuses of the triangular plates of the adjacent unit are mirror symmetrical to each other. All legs gathering to the corners of each third rectangular cover can be grasped by each retainer.
Disclosed is a raised floor to be installed on the subfloor of a room. The raised floor is constructed with a plurality of upper layer plates and lower layer plates separated and supported by a plurality of base seats. The separation between the lower layer plates and the subfloor forms an air space which can be used as an air-conditioning conduct. The gap between the upper layer plates and the lower layer plates is used as a conduit for computer network wiring. A plurality of cover plates are used to cover the gaps between adjacent upper layer plates. Bellowses and vents are used to induce the cool air in the air conditioning conduct to reach above the raised floor surface.
The present invention is directed to a connecting structure of a cover plate for a network floor. The floor supports or floor plate bodies for the network floor are integrally formed with a hollow portion, a frame rim portion, and a central pillar on the center portion the floor supports or floor plate bodies. Locking rims are provided on the periphery of the cover plate which engage with grooves provided in the frame rim portion of the floor supports or in the floor plate bodies. Long side covers are also provided and have rim portions extending downward on the long sides thereof. The rim portions of the long side covers also engage the grooves of the frame rim portion of the floor supports or the floor plate bodies. In addition, a central cover is provided that has locking rims which engage grooves of the two adjacent floor supports or floor plate bodies. The assembled structure has improved strength that prevents the network floor from sliding or deforming.
An elevated floor board comprising an upper and a lower floor board combined together by means of combining posts on the upper board and cylindrical posts on the lower board fitting with the combining posts, a number of hard gasket rings and soft gasket rings disposed to fit around the combining post to adjust the height of the elevated floor board, one or two separating boards possible to be fixed between the upper and the lower floor board to form two or more cavities between the upper board, the lower board and the separating board(s) for dispose electric or telephone lines to prevent mutual interference.
A floor panel having a rectangular floor base integrally with a convex prop in each corner portion and a concave portion on the upper surface of each prop. There is a height adjusting screw with a plate embedded in the concave portion of each prop, variably for adjusting the height of the support position in a predetermined range between a position lower than the upper surface of the prop and a position higher than the upper surface of the prop. A floor panel is supported by each prop of the floor base and has through holes for accessing the height adjusting screw for adjusting the support height at each corner according to the prop. In the method of manufacturing the floor base, a convex portion, which integrally projects to the upper surface side on four corners of a skin, is formed, a concave portion is formed on the lower surface of said convex portion, concrete is packed in the concave portion, thereby forming which is integral to said skin.
A utility floor construction is provided including a plurality of interconnectable base tiles supported on a floor surface, each of which has upstanding pedestals. A plurality of floor tiles are supported on and attached to the pedestals to create a cavity thereunder. A plurality of differently shaped separator channels are positionable in the cavity and attachable to create a raceway, the separator channels being configured to segregate and shield wires, etc. from other utilities.
