A lockable cover for the keyway of a cam-type lock, including an annular skirt attached to the body of the cam lock adjacent the inward end of the front-key way end of the lock. There is locking means for engaging the annular skirt, which locking means is generally rectangular and has a front wall with an aperture therein sufficient to accommodate the annular skirt adjacent which aperture there are latching heads of the lock which have an open configuration in which they are spaced apart sufficiently to receive the periphery of the annular skirt and a locked configuration in which the shaped latching heads are brought together to lockably embrace the annular skirt thereby covering the keyway portion of the lock.
The invention relates to a catch for a door, especially a switchboard door, with a lock plate which can be secured to the door and bears a door lock and a bolt cover guided adjustably on the lock plate which can be secured in a position covering the door lock by means of a cover lock. Complete sealing with substantially increased security against unauthorized access to the door lock is attained in that the door lock takes the form of a casement lock and the cover lock that of a cylinder lock, a partial cover is secured to the lock plate which overlaps with the bolt cover in the locked position at the contact point and forms a sealed lock cover, and a cover for the cylinder lock is rotatably fitted on the bolt cover.
An electronic security enclosure conceals a device, such as a switch, valve, outlet, or lock, behind a movable member. When the movable member is unlocked, by an electronic key, and moved to reveal the concealed device, the key is captured, preventing its removal until the enclosure is again secured over the device. A variety of operational features, including provision for keyholder access restrictions, time-of-day restrictions, provision of different classes of keys for employees and vendors, etc., are also provided. The invention also contemplates a plurality of access control devices, including lock boxes, padlocks, mortise locks, cam locks, etc., that are each operable by a common electronic key.
