Abstract
A golf putting practice device has an elongate runner for supporting a rolling golf ball from a putting location at one end of the runner to a cup formed in the other end of the runner. An overshoot gutter is provided adjacent and beyond the cup and the cup and the gutter are connected in communication with a ball return structure by way of a ramp structure which guides golf balls to the ball return device. The ball return device includes a track which extends alongside the runner to the putting location.

5306009 - Golf practice kit

The golf practice kit of this invention utilizes a canvas ramp including a curved upper portion and an inclined target portion that slopes upwardly and away from the tee where the user stands. The kit is designed for practice with all of the golf clubs except the putter. For this purpose, the inclined target portion has a lower target area for the use of woods, a mid target area for practice with the long irons (2-6), and an upper target area for practice with the short irons (7-9). Above the upper target area, the curved upper portion of the ramp curves inwardly on itself to define an arc of more than 360.degree. and terminates in a laterally sloping trough. The velocity of a ball hit against any of the target areas carries the ball into the arc at the top of the ramp where the ball's kinetic energy is expended, causing the ball to drop into the laterally sloping trough, which delivers it, by gravity, to a ball return conduit formed of fabric and extending between the lower end of the trough and a receptacle at the tee area. The receptacle is structured to orient successive balls for retrieval by simply inserting the head of the user's golf club in the receptacle. The ramp is supported by a tubular frame that can be easily assembled and disassembled by the user. The frame also supports safety netting on both sides of the ramp.

5431403 - Golf putting practice device with perfect putting surface

A golf putting device having a perfect surface to simulate a three foot putt on an actual outdoor putting green, enabling a golfer to develop a proper and consistent three foot putting stroke and develop proper muscle memory therefrom. The surface includes an adjustment and a level indicator to enable the surface to be located precisely level on any reasonably flat support surface and hole width restrictors to narrow the hole width while maintaining the hole depth constant. The surface is slightly raised and formed with a nap surface to more accurately simulate the conditions encountered on an actual putting green.

5529304 - Practice putting range

A practice putting range has a runway and an adjacent inclined surface, the runway having a putting runway surface, the putting runway surface in flush abutment with an entrance end to the inclined surface, the entrance end of the inclined surface gently curving upwards towards a raised end of the inclined surface opposed to the entrance end, the raised end having therein an aperature through which a golf ball may drop, a golf ball return chute co-operating with the aperature so as to feed the golf ball dropping through the aperature from beneath the inclined surface onto the runway surface, the chute having a golf ball exit aperture engaging the runway surface and aligned relative to the runway surface so as to direct the golf ball exiting the golf ball exit aperture onto the runway surface to a point on a longitudinal medial line along the runway surface.

5441266 - System for golf putting

A system and kit for golf putting is disclosed comprising a foot box adjacent to a pivotable putting platform supported by legs that are pivotally connected to the platform. The platform includes an upper surface defining a hole and is capable of returning balls via a pivoting function provided by the pivotal connection of the legs.

6428420 - Putting practice apparatus

A putting practice apparatus for practicing putting a golf ball on sloped surfaces. The putting practice apparatus includes a plurality of base members being detachably connected end-to-end to form a continuous artificial putting green upon which a user can practice one's putting with each of the base members having a front end, a back end, sides, a top surface with the top surfaces of the base, members being contoured uniquely relative to one another with at least one of the base members, including a hole disposed in the top surface thereof and being adapted to receive a golf ball; and also includes a cover removably and securely disposed upon the top surfaces of the base members; and further includes a ball return assembly for returning a ball from said hole to the user.
