A self-contained swab includes a hollow stick, one or both ends of which is formed with a fluid storing chamber separated from the stick by a transverse wall and the fluids stored within sealed by a thin membrane. The stick is further formed with two annular rings in the vicinity of the fluid storing chamber. A socket means includes a clamping end by means of which the socket means is couplable with the stick and slidable between the two annular rings. The other end of the socket means, on which a nonwoven cottom mass is carried, is formed with an inwardly projecting prong. The prong impales the thin membrane releasing the fluid when the socket means is slid back along the stick from the second to the first annular ring. The fluid absorbed by the cotton mass can then be appropriately applied.
A nose cleaning system is provided including a handle and a nose tip including an ellipsoid mounted with respect to an end of the handle. The nose tip has a foam outer layer defining an outer surface with a hemispherical inboard extent and a tapering outboard extent which terminates in an arcuate apex.
By employing two integrated components which cooperate to achieve a product dispensing trigger assembly, and mounting these two components to a container within which the desired product is retained and on which a desired seal is mounted, a unique fluid product holding and dispensing system is realized. In the present invention, the fluid product holding and dispensing system possesses two separate and distinct locked positions which assures that the system is retained in either locked position, until change is desired by the user. As a result, accidental or unwanted activation of the system is completely eliminated and users are assured that the product retained and sealed in the container remains sealed until use is desired and accidental opening or rupturing of the seal is completely eliminated. In addition, by employing the two-component fluid product holding and dispensing trigger assembly of this invention, an easily manufactured, reasonably priced system is attained which is capable of providing consistent, dependable, repeatable results.
The multi-channel container comprises of a multi-channel single-tube sealed container and applicator that defines multiple channels within its body that may contain different substances in each channel and that is sealed on both ends. A score is formed at a predetermined distance from each sealed end of the multi-channel single-tube sealed container and applicator such that when the multi-channel single-tube sealed container and applicator is bent it will break open at the score discharging the substances in the channels. The multi-channel container is a multi-channel single-tube sealed container and applicator that is easy to package, convenient, easy to use, easy to transport, sanitary, economical, and self-contained. The multi-channel container is not only a container but can also be used as the applicator. Furthermore, the multi-channel container eliminates the tedious task of measuring the proper proportion of the substances required for application.
The invention provides a transportable applicator system in intended in particular for applying a composition on a localized surface element. It comprises a main body (10) extended by a rod handle (12) and a receptacle (14) in which said main body (10) is suitable for being inserted. The applicator system comprises: a puncturable container (18) containing said composition and held in said receptacle (14); applicator means (13) for applying said composition and secured to the end of said main body; and means (22, 20) for puncturing said container (18) when the main body (10) is forced into said receptacle (14) so as to puncture said puncturable container (18), whereby said applicator means (13) are suitable for being impregnated with said composition.
A small slender container and an applicator that may be used to store small quantity of substance, such as creams, lotions, and make-ups in a sealed environment and easily and sanitarily dispenses its content for application as desired is disclosed. The content of the slender container may be permanently sealed with an opening means or may be sealed with a high viscosity substance such as silicone. The container and applicator comprises of a small slender container with a sealed first end and a second end with a high viscosity substance sealed within the container and an applicator that is inserted into the container to simultaneously extract and inject the content into the applicator. The applicator may then be used to apply the contents to the desired location. After application, the sealed compartment and the applicator are disposed of.
