Abstract
A figure moving article capable of accomplishing unique and unexpected movement sufficient to exhibit unexpected variation in figure. The figure moving article includes a cylindrical container having a peripheral wall formed of a flexible material. In the container is arranged a bending structure which is actuated to cause the container to carry out bending motion. Also, a motor is received in the container in a manner to be operatively connected to the bending structure to actuate the bending structure and a motor drive circuit for driving the motor is arranged in the container. The bending structure is operatively connected to the container so as to transmit the actuation of the bending structure to the container, resulting in the container exhibiting bending movement.

A system for encouraging good personal hygiene in toilet facilities is provided, including means for detecting the acoustic signal generated by the inrush of water into a toilet bowl to trigger a recorded admonition to the toilet user to cleanse his or her hands.

5410829 - Display arrangements - Owned by Schwab; Kerstin (Starzach,DE)

A display arrangement comprises a dancing body torso of plastics material. The lower and upper display halves of the torso are spaced apart. The upper display half is pivotally supported by a support carried by the lower display half. A motor secured to the support is coupled to the upper display half to cause it to oscillate about is pivotal axis. A support bracket secured to the support and the lower display half has a pair of feet which can be secured to a ground engaging member.

6478152 - Beverage package with sound effects

A beverage package that in one embodiment can be described as a musical wine bag has a sound emitting device that plays a tune when a beverage container is pressed into the beverage package. The sound emitting device is commercially available and has an integral switch that is actuated by pressing, e.g., the top and bottom of the device together. A specially designed locator positions the sound emitting device underneath it in the bottom of the beverage package and positions beverage containers so that the sound emitting device speaker is not covered. The locator is further designed to orient beverage containers into upright positions and transmit sufficient force from smaller ones sited away from the sound emitting device to actuate the device.

6039626 - Voice-activated toy truck with animated features

A voice activated toy truck having animated features includes a truck chassis that supports a hood and cab that readily flexes and bends and that may have an exterior surface molded in the shape of a set of facial features. The truck chassis supports a truck bed carrier that supports a truck bed. The truck bed is mounted to the carrier in a movable fashion such that the truck bed is capable of movement in a side-side fashion relative to the truck chassis. A first actuator assembly causes the flexible hood to flex thereby causing the facial features to move and a second actuator assembly causes the truck bed to move in the side-to-side fashion that emulates a puppy dog wagging its tail. A sound detecting circuit actuates a control circuit that is coupled to the first and second actuator assemblies and that causes the first and second assemblies to operate in the manner described.
