5437573 - Structure for children's games

A modular play structure for children's games includes a plurality of corner components and a plurality of side components in which the assembly thereof are integrated. The corner components are formed by oblique extensions of material having an alternate slope with the free edges thereof curved inwards in opposite directions to form longitudinal guideways in said corner components for sliding and retaining edges of the side components which extend along the vertical sides of the side components, with which they are connected by thinner portions (20). The structure is applicable to the assembly and dismantling of constructions for children's games, without the need of auxiliary tooling or independent connecting means for the components integrating the structure.

5356354 - Soft, modular, play equipment system for toddlers

The disclosure pertains to a system of various parts that are assembled to produce modular play equipment units of a variety of sizes and configurations, all with impact attenuating play surfaces for infant and toddler age children. The pans consist of vertical support posts removably attached by threaded, cam-operated fasteners to frames that contain either play activity elements or hand grips to facilitate passage of a child between segments of finished equipment constructions. Frame pieces support horizontal deck pieces at various levels above the ground plane, as well as shade canopy elements and flags. Posts, certain frames, and decks are made of structural core elements embedded in an impact attenuating molded foam body and other frames are made of a structural core with a removable impact attenuating foam and fabric assembly such that when all parts of the system are assembled as a play equipment unit, exposed surfaces present soft, bumper-like materials to dissipate the potential effects of falls or impacts of children playing in the equipment. In the finished play equipment construction, assembled pans form features for stepping, gripping, climbing, playing, and social interaction intended to encourage the development and advancement of fine motor skills and gross motor skills in children of the intended user age group.

7251509 - Mobile device with cell array

A mobile terminal having one or more of the following modes: a standby mode, talk mode, send/receive mode, and read/write mode, includes a cell array being capable of providing a cell array power and a backup battery being capable of providing battery power. The mobile terminal has a power management system that when the mobile terminal enters standby mode and/or read/write mode, has the ability to supply the mobile terminal with only cell array power. The power management system further has, when the mobile terminal enters talk mode and/or send/receive mode, the ability to supply the mobile terminal with battery power and/or cell array power. In both events, the power management system has the ability to send any excess cell array power to recharge the battery.
