A swinging saw has a saw blade performing a working movement with a superimposed swinging movement, a displacement rod supporting the saw blade and performing a swinging movement, a displacement rod support having an opening opening through which the displacement rod is guided. The displacement rod is guided such that relative movement, or play, is provided between the guide and the displacement rod in the swinging plane while play is prevented in a plane transverse to the swinging plane.
A bearing assembly permits one bearing bushing to be employed in both applications that permit self-aligning pivoting movement of a rotating shaft and applications that rigidly support a rotating shaft, thereby eliminating the need to inventory two different types of bearings for these two different applications.

The invention relates to an electric hand tool comprising a housing, a reciprocating carrier for an operating member drivable by means of an electric motor placed in the housing, wherein the carrier is guided by at least two guide members fixed in the housing, wherein the guide members each comprise two guides placed on either side of the carrier, wherein one of the guides is fixedly attached and the other guide is provided with means for urging the guide against the carrier. The occurrence of play, wear, noise nuisance and vibrations is thus avoided. According to a preferred embodiment, both guides forming part of a guide member are formed by guide rollers received in a frame and the frame is fixedly mounted by means of a shaft extending through one of the guide wheels and a spring is placed between the housing and the frame such that the spring urges the other guide wheel into contact with the carrier.
A reciprocating saw, comprises: a housing [13], a plunger [15], a driving gear [7], a link shaft [4], a pushing member [9], a lifting member [11], a front end portion of said link shaft [4] rotatablely connect with a rear end portion of said plunger [15], said lifting member [1] connect with said housing [13] and contact with a front end portion of said pushing member [9], said lifting member [11] also contact with a sleeve bearing which disposed on a rear end portion of said plunger [15], a angle between lines through a center of a first eccentric shaft [5], a rotating center of said driving gear [7] and a rotating center of a second eccentric shaft [8] is an obtuse angle. Said pushing member will move back and forth when said link shaft [4] move forward, the movement of said pushing member in the direction opposite to the movement of said link shaft will eliminate the vibration which resulting from the reciprocating movements of said plunger.
A powered jig saw comprises a holder for a saw blade at the lower end of the reciprocating drive shaft. The holder is adjustable, by rotation of an actuating section, between an open position and a closed position for holding the saw blade. The actuating section comprises, in the interior of an upwardly open tube portion of the drive shaft, an engagement surface which, for the purpose of rotating the actuating section, engages with a working surface of a rotatable adjustment device which is stationary when the drive shaft is driven. The upper end portion of the drive shaft is mounted, so as to be capable of axial displacement, in a guide bush, above which there is a holding device of the adjustment device, in which holding device there is fixed a downwardly extending element comprising the working surface. A pendulum mechanism serves to generate a swivelling movement of the drive shaft. The guide bush, for the purpose of accommodating the swivelling movement of the drive shaft generated by the pendulum mechanism, is pivotally mounted within the housing and the holding device is supported on the guide bush and held in engagement therewith by spring force. In this way, tilting or swivelling of the engagement surface of the actuating section relative to the working surface of the adjustment device during the pendulum operation is prevented.
