A tuck folder box erection fixture which quickly erects the box blank and holds the erected folder in place while the packaging operator loads the product. In particular, an inventive fixture that is stationary and uses no moving parts to erect and hold the box in place.
A pillow box making apparatus 10 and method of use wherein the box making apparatus 10 includes a base panel member 20 provided with a guide element 21, a cushioned pad member 30 dimensioned to overlie a portion of the base panel member 20, a template member 40 operatively associated with the base plate member 20 to captively engage a sheet of craft paper 20 intermediate the cushioned pad member 30 and the template member 40. The template member 40 is provided with at least one generally elongated figure eight shaped apertures 50 and a plurality of slots 61, 62, 63, and 64 that can be used to define the scored outline of the unassembled pillow box 100.
A presser assembly for supporting blanking scrap during a blanking operation is provided. The presser assembly includes a support rail; a presser rail connected to the support rail; and at least one connecting rail connecting the presser rail to the support rail. The connecting rail is adapted to pivot with respect to at least one of the support rail and the presser rail through a predetermined pivot angle range for changing a distance between the support rail and the presser rail. By pivoting, a folding and an unfolding of the presser assembly can be affected during a blanking operation.
A presser assembly for supporting blanking scrap during a blanking operation is provided. The presser assembly includes a support rail; a presser rail connected to the support rail; and a connecting rail connecting the presser rail to the support rail and being adapted to pivot with respect to at least one of the support rail and the presser rail through a predetermined pivot angle range for changing a distance between the support rail and the presser rail. By pivoting, one can thereby selectively affect a folding and an unfolding of the presser assembly during a blanking operation.
