An apparatus for cleaning the mouth includes chuck unit fastened to the outlet pipe of a water tap and locked in place by a locknut, a spray gun connected to the chuck unit by a spiral water tube, wherein the spray gun has a control valve controlled to eject a stream of water for cleaning the cavity of the mouth. A toothbrush may be attached to the handle of the spray gun in place of the nozzle thereof for cleaning the teeth. The toothbrush has water outlets on the brush head thereof through which water is ejected for cleaning the gaps in the teeth.

A device for cleaning teeth and gums is provided. The device has an improved adapter that is easily connected to and disconnected from a variety of different faucet nozzles. A plurality of tips may be used with the invention.
An oral irragating device comprising three zones with pressurised water: having a jet, of individual character, and changeable, which can be screwed to a two-part stem which water is delivered to from a small flexible tube fitted directly to a tap with a suitable connection using a clamp and pressure screw to adjust to the tap opening, thereby avoiding leaks. A flexible strip can secure this mechanism to the tap. The tap connection may be a bowl pressed onto the tap.
A toothbrush body includes a handle connected to a head and bristles projecting from the top of the head. A channel runs longitudinally through the body between a first opening and a second opening such that the first opening is in communication with the second opening through the channel. The channel and the first and second openings are arranged so that a substantially downward running stream of water directed into one of the first opening and the second opening is redirected through the channel and out of the other of the first opening and the second opening to form a fountain. A direction of a flow of the fountain at the other of the first opening and the second opening has an upward component so that a user, i.e., holder of the toothbrush, can easily reach the fountain for oral rinsing.
