Abstract
A concealed pocket assembly, and more particularly, a concealed pocket assembly which can be incorporated into swim wear, beach wear, active wear, exercise wear and related articles. The concealed pocket assembly is generally provided for incorporation into clothing. The concealed pocket assembly includes a pocket member attached to a fabric portion adjacent an edge of the opening of the pocket and in association with a lining portion of the garment.

5878441 - Water-impervious pocket

A waterproof pocket, usable in beach or boating environments, can hold articles therein while keeping the articles dry. The pocket is formed of a water-impervious material. A seal, such as a slide fastener or interlocking ridges, is formed to prevent water from entering the pocket. The pocket can be attached to clothing, particularly to a swim suit. Alternately, the pocket may be held in a slot or other similar opening in the clothing.

A waterproof pocket, for incorporation into, for example, swimming trunks or a wetsuit, having overlying first and second sheets of material defining a pocket. A waterproof closure closes the pocket, and the pocket is provided with an air discharge valve and an air discharge tube connected to a pump, for extracting air from the pocket after it has been closed and sealed in order to prevent air pockets causing inconvenience.

A garment is provided having at least one pocket that is attached to the garment and accessible via a zipper or other fastener that provides access to an interior compartment formed by the pocket as well as a method for providing a garment with a waterproof compartment. The fastener is preferably a waterproof zipper that is attachable via a process requiring the pocket and the zipper to be attached by gluing, stitching and/or heat-sealing the same. As a result, a completely watertight and waterproof pocket is formed allowing the user of the garment to carry items therein that typically may not be exposed to water.

The spring biased key gripping assembly is positioned within an open topped pocket en an exterior surface of the sealable item concealment pouch and includes a resilient channel member having a key insertion slot defined between first and second key gripping members, the first and second key gripping members being biased toward each other by first and second springs such that a key placed within the key insertion slot is gripped between the first and second key gripping members.
