A junction center is useful for wiring the electrical pump and alarm system circuits of sanitary mound systems and of the lift stations of conventional septic systems The junction center comprises a relatively large diameter main tube of electrical conduit placed against the outside of the sanitary system sewer riser. A branch tube extends through the wall of the main tube and through a hole in the wall of the sewer riser. Supply wires are fed from a trench into the main tube from the bottom end and out the top end. Wiring from the pump and alarm system are fed from the sewer riser through the branch tube and into the main tube interior and out the main tube top end. The wires are connected outside of the main tube; then the wires are pushed back into the main tube. If the pump and alarm system operate on different voltages, a divider in the main tube divides the interior thereof into separate passages for the pump and alarm system wires. The branch tube is slotted inside the main tube to provide support and guidance for the divider. The main tube top end is covered with a removable cap.
A building entrance box providing an interface between a signal transmission media cable having a first plurality of filamentary signal transmission elements and a second plurality of individual filamentary signal transmission elements. In a first embodiment, moisture infiltration is reduced by providing potting material in a transition region between a splice chamber of the box and a connector chamber of the box. In another embodiment, a plastic protector panel is specifically shaped to reduce condensation and to reduce the effects of any condensation. Modular protector panels mounted in the box are automatically grounded when mounted to a conductive chassis plate and are so arranged that input and output wires are isolated from each other. Mounting of stacked boxes in a predetermined alignment is effected by a first embodiment of a bracket assembly having a variable overall length but a fixed horizontal alignment, and by a second embodiment of a bracket which is breakable by an installer to achieve a desired bracket length.
The improved baby bottle device includes a liquid holding container having a flexible liquid flow tube engaged thereto. A nipple is engaged to the distal end of the liquid flow tube, and a liquid flow control device is disposed within an adaptor that serves to engage the nipple with the liquid flow tube to control the flow of liquid from the bottle to the nipple, such that liquid neither leaks from the nipple when the nipple is disposed below the container nor drains from the nipple when the nipple is disposed above the container. In the preferred embodiment, the liquid flow control device includes a spring loaded check valve. A bottle attachment device, generally including two velcro straps joined at their midpoints is used to attach the bottle device to adjacent structural support members.
Disclosure is made in this application of a pedestal housing and a pedestal control housing segment mounted at the top of the pedestal housing and a control panel board mounted in the control housing segment and power lines entering the pedestal housing below the ground level and into the pedestal housing and lead connectors extending from sump pump and sump pump float switch and tank alert float switch extending from sump tank through a connector duct or pipe into the pedestal housing and extending to the control panel board in the housing segment and a door mounted on the control housing segment to seal the control housing segment. The lead connectors of the power lines and the float switches extend through apertures in the bottom of the control housing segment and are held in position by grommets to seal the openings around the lead connections. There is a float switch for a full tank alert which is connected to an audible alarm and to an electric light visible alert mounted on the top of the pedestal housing.
Disclosure is made of a housing and electric connection panel for sump pump and full septic tank alarm apparatus which includes an electric connection panel with a female receptacle and electrical terminal strip mounted on the panel and power lines leading onto the panel, and this electric connection panel mounted in grooves in a panel housing, and this panel housing attached to a sump tank by a connector pipe nipple extending through the side wall of the panel housing and through the side wall of the septic tank and electric wire leads to from the sump pump float switch, sump pump, and full tank alarm each of which is in the sump tank and the electric leads extending through the connector pipe nipple and into the panel housing and the piggy back male plug of the sump pump switch plugged into the female receptacle on the electrical panel and the male plug of the sump pump plugged into the piggy back of the sump pump switch, and the electric power supply to the electrical connector panel entering through the bottom through an inlet for the electric power lines into the panel housing.
A strain relief arrangement for electrical wires or cables and, more particularly, an electrical receptacle or housing incorporating an integral strain relief arrangement for electrical transmission cables or wires. The electrical receptacle has a rear wall structure including holes or apertures for the passage therethrough of electrical wires or cables, and in which each of the holes possesses a configuration adapted to incorporate a strain relief arrangement for the electrical wires or cables.
