A system for retaining a fitted or flat sheet to a mattress utilizing first and second, generally "T" configured straps having first, second, and third gripping ends configured to engage the ends and lower sheet situated about and directly engaging the mattress, the system contemplating the straps being juxtaposed the box spring and mattress, retaining the lower sheet firmly in place. The present system is particularly suitable for holding the lower sheet in place where the sheet might otherwise become dislodged, such as, for example, utilization in conjunction with bedding utilized by bed ridden persons, invalids, and children.

A bed sheet securing device that includes a number of fasteners in connection with a harness for holding the corners of a bed sheet in place over a mattress. A number of additional fasteners are provided that are securable to the bottom edge of a flat cover sheet to prevent the bottom edge of the cover sheet from slipping out from under the mattress.

A sheet and mattress apparatus includes a fitted sheet assembly which includes a fitted sheet portion and a first fastener strip attached to and substantially coextensive with an edge of the fitted sheet portion. A mattress assembly includes a mattress portion and a second fastener strip attached to sides of the mattress portion. The second fastener strip is substantially coextensive with the first fastener strip. When the first fastener strip is connected to the second fastener strip, the fitted sheet assembly is connected to the mattress assembly. The first fastener strip can be a first zipper strip. The second fastener strip can be a second zipper strip. A slider assembly is included for zipping and unzipping the first zipper strip with respect to the second zipper strip. In accordance with a second embodiment, the first fastener strip can be a first hook-or-loop material strip, and the second fastener strip can be a complementary second hook-or-loop material strip. In accordance with a third embodiment, a cover sheet assembly includes a cover sheet portion and a third zipper strip attached to an edge of the cover sheet portion. A fourth zipper strip is attached to a side of the fitted sheet portion of the fitted sheet assembly. The fourth zipper strip is substantially coextensive with the third zipper strip. A second slider assembly is provided for zipping and unzipping the third zipper strip with respect to the fourth zipper strip.

A connector (10), for removably securing a mattress (18) to a mattress supporting bed frame (22), that is provided a length that is sufficient to allow one to pull the mattress (18) from a first position in which it is fully supported on the supporting frame (22), to a second position in which it is supported on an edge of the frame (22) and hangs out beyond the edge of the supporting frame (22). The connector (10) is sufficiently short to retain the mattress (18) in the second position and not allow the mattress (18) to fall off the supporting frame (22). The connector (10) allows a person placing sheets on the mattress (18) to pull the mattress (18) toward oneself into the second position and thereby more easily reach the far edge of the mattress (18) when placing sheets on it, and can then put the mattress (18) back into the first position when the sheets are in place.

A fitted bed sheet has a pair of roll guards mounted thereon to prevent a toddler or other person from rolling out of bed. Each roll guard is removably disposed in a slip cover mounted on the sheet by a flexible strip of material, which allows each roll guard to move between a first position atop the sheet and a second position beside the sheet with the roll guard hanging from the flexible strip. Each roll guard is securable in the raised position by the linking of fastener strips having hook and loop fasteners mounted on the slip cover and fabric loops mounted on the sheet. Each roll guard is removably mounted to the sheet via a zipper between the sheet and the flexible strip of material mounted on the slip cover. A plurality of elastic straps is mounted axially on the bottom of the sheet to help secure the sheet on a mattress.
