6574804 - Safety and life-saving device for aquatic environment

The invention concerns an inflatable grille, whereof the numerous openings are provided with open-worked netting, capable of being spaced apart and locked for rescuing in an aquatic environment someone stuck beneath the device to move onto the device and to clean the floor of a swimming pool more easily by inserting the vacuum cleaner in the netting openings which are capable of being spaced apart and locked. Said grille is associated with hoisting means adapted to the environment wherein it operates and in swimming pools with slide rails having a non-return system which blocks the device in high position.

5832547 - Swimming pool automatic rescue device

An automatic rescue device employing a safety net usable in large in-ground swimming pools operable without human assistance can lift a net rapidly and effectively to the surface and is suitable to handle significant weight and rescue several people in a stable and reliable manner. It is comprised of a safety net coextensive with the perimeter of the pool submerged in the water when inactive having metal arms fastened to corners thereof, hollow cylinders running from the pool bottom to just above the top of the water surface standing at corners of the pool that house collapsible rods. In certain modes, minimal action by a human, namely operation of a remote activator, is necessary. When the swimming pool is not in use, an infra red signalling system is activated causing an electrical signal to travel through wires to activate motors at the bottom of each cylinder.

7451499 - Pool barrier apparatus

A pool barrier apparatus for providing a barrier between a deep end and a shallow end of a pool includes a netting having an upper edge, a lower edge and a pair of lateral edges. The netting has a length between said lateral edges being substantially equal to a length between side edges of the pool. A plurality of clamps being coupled to the netting adjacent to the upper edge. The clamps are configured to releasably engage a buoy line and suspend the netting from the buoy line.

7479891 - Device for rescue and safety for swimming pools and leisure parks

A rescue and safety device for swimming-pools and amusement parks, consisting of a wristband containing a cardiac-arrest detector, a panic button, a location device and, optionally, a water detector, triggered by immersion syncope, cardiac arrest or an accident; a rescue device, especially if an inflatable grid has been installed on the bottom of the pool, that can uplift any person in difficulties from the bottom of the pool.

6389615 - Fail-safe safety swimming pool net

A swimming pool rescue apparatus includes a safety pool bottom substrate, having a periphery made of a buoyant material and at least one non-peripheral portion is buoyant. The buoyant material is urged into a fixed position at a bottom of the pool by a retaining member. A lifting mechanism raises and lowers the safety pool bottom substrate. The lifting mechanism communicates with a detection signal device detecting the presence of a person under water in the pool for a predetermined period of time. The electronic signal device has a trigger engaging the lifting mechanism to release the buoyant material from a fixed position at the bottom of the pool to a further position at an upper area above the water level of the pool.
