The sulfonamide derivative according to the present invention is expressed by a general formula: ##STR1## (where R.sub.11 represents an alkyl group having 5 or less carbon atoms; Each of L.sub.11, L.sub.12 and L.sub.13 represents an alkylene group; Each of M.sub.11 and M.sub.12 represents a hydrogen atom or a cation.) This compound is suitable for the applications such as photographic processing solution, for chelate titration or analytical reagent for medical treatment or for medical drugs as a metallic ion shielding agent.
