A security bag for storing and transporting valuable articles includes an upper pouch and a lower pouch that are not overlapping that prevents unauthorized parties from entering one pouch and hiding such entry with articles in the other pouch. The upper pouch and the lower pouch open at upper ends of the respective pouches. The security bags are useful for storing and transporting currency and negotiable instruments or receipts.
A plastic coin bag for transporting a load of loose coins includes a slot opening in the front panel, a closure member for sealing the closure member to close and seal the slot opening, a back panel forming a coin storage chamber with the front panel, and a patch panel located between the upper portions of the front and back panels to increase the manual carrying capacity and the strength of the bag handle or hand-grip opening region. A transverse secure line below the hand-grip opening seals the three panels together and forms the top of the storage chamber. In one embodiment, the patch panel can extend into the storage chamber to below the slot opening in the front panel to adhere to the closure adhesive if the slot is improperly spread open during press closing. This feature prevents coins from sticking to the adhesive or the false tripping if the closure comprises tamper evident tape and the back panel adheres to the closure adhesive. Other features disclosed can include a heat seal joining the three panels above the grip opening to further strengthen the handle area, at least two tear-off receipts to accommodate the usual same data entered on each receipt to match the front panel data, and side seals to complete the closed storage chamber.
Side slot or top opening plastic coin transport bag includes a primary handle at the bag top and an optional bag bottom auxiliary handle enabling two hand or two person lifting and transport. Reinforcing patch panel and heat seals surrounding the opening strengthens the handles. Closure member closes and seals a slot opening or includes a flap top opening closure. Tear-off receipts locate at the bag top, bottom, and/or flap edge. Transverse heat seals between handles and chamber also strengthen the bag. Primary handle patch panel can extend below the front panel slot opening to adhere to closure adhesive if the slot improperly spreads open during closing. Indicia indicates upward orientation of the bag.
A combination paper cover and attached overlay with a detachable advertising coupon attached to the overlay. A method of making the cover and overlay using a folded sheet of heat sealable material for the cover and a printed single sheet of a heat-sealable material for the overlay in which the single sheet is placed over the folded sheet with a free end projecting past the folded edge of the cover, the edge is perforated to form a line of weakness to define the coupon, and the cover and overlay are heat sealed together along their side edges and formed into individual units simultaneously.
A tamper evident bag comprises a slit therein to provide access to the interior of the bag, and a closure flap arranged to be adhered to the bag over the slit in order to seal the bag. The bag has an indicator strip which is covered by the closure flap when the bag is sealed. This indicator strip comprises a material having a surface tension less than or substantially equal to that of saliva and serves to indicate wetting of the bag or closure flap prior to attempted sealing.
A security envelope for transporting valuable documents and articles includes a thin header formed of thin frangible material secured to the back panel having an adhesive layer that seals the header to the front panel upon folding and pressing closed. An inner layer of adhesive on the inner surface of the back panel seals the inner front and back panel surfaces to close the envelope chamber and extends further toward the envelope bottom than the header adhesive layer when sealed to prevent tampering tool access to the envelope chamber. Application of tampering heat will shrivel the header and cold sufficient to release the inner adhesive layer will cause pieces of the outer adhesive layer to break off and fall away. Printed indicia on the header inner surface and a transparent flood coat on the inner header surface will adhere to the header adhesive layer and aid in the tampering attempt indication.
