Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein the substituents are as defined herein, and enantiomers, diastereomers, racemates and salts with pharmaceutically acceptable bases, antagonize LTD.sub.4 action and thus, are useful in treating bronchial asthma, pulmonary anaphylaxis, cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, respiratory distress syndrome and pulmonary oedema.
The invention relates to novel compounds of Formula (I) or a salt, solvate or prodrug thereof, wherein A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, n and m are described in the specification, useful in the treatment of ##STR00001## a disease or condition mediated through glucokinase (GLK), such as type 2 diabetes. The invention also relates to methods for preparing compounds of Formula (I) and their use as medicaments in the treatment of diseases mediated by glucokinase.
The invention relates to the use of a compound of Formula (I) or a salt, solvate or prodrug thereof, wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, n and m are as described in the specification, in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of a disease condition mediated through glucokinase (GLK), such as type 2 diabetes. ##STR00001## The invention also relates to a novel group of compounds of Formula (I) and to methods for preparing compounds of Formula (I).
