Abstract
A gun grip assembly including two body panels to be received at the opposite sides of a gun handle, and two outer grip panels to be received at the outer sides of the two body panels respectively and preferably forming side portions of a grip unit having a connecting portion extending between and interconnecting the two side portions. The side portions of the grip unit are attached to the two body panels respectively, and the body panels contain openings at locations offset from/the side portions of the grip unit to receive threaded fasteners which extend through the body panels but not through the side portions of the grip unit and which tighten the body panels against the opposite sides of the handle.

6804907 - Anatomical hand grip for a firearm and method of size determination

An anatomical hand grip for a firearm is disclosed providing a trigger finger support protrusion for the positioning of the mid-portion of the distal phalanx of the index trigger finger directly on the trigger.

6301817 - Long gun stock

A strong, durable, lightweight long gun stock comprising a rigid insert molded of reinforced thermoplastic material together with a foaming agent. The insert is over-molded with a thermoplastic material which provides the stock with the desired surface characteristics. The insert is dimensioned with respect to its over-molded surfaces to be smaller than the finished stock and is designed to give maximum strength to the stock. The insert is shaped to promote the flow of the over-mold material and to minimize shrinking, swelling or distortion of the insert. The over-mold material may be a hard, un-foamed material or a thermoplastic elastomer. The hard un-foamed over-mold material mechanically bonds with the insert and provides the stock with an extremely smooth, hard outer surface. The thermoplastic elastomer over-mold material is compatible with the material of the insert and bonds both mechanically and chemically with the insert, providing the stock with a soft, quiet, non-slip surface.

5560136 - Pistol grip - Owned by Pachmayr Ltd. (Monrovia, CA) [*] Notice:The portion of the term of this patent subsequent to October 27, 2014 has been disclaimed.

A grip assembly for a gun having a downwardly projecting handle, which assembly includes two body panels to be received at opposite sides of the handle, and a grip unit having two side panels at outer sides of the body panels and a forward portion connecting the grip panels in front of the handle. The grip panels are preferably connected to the body panels by two screws and nuts. A third screw extends through an opening in one of the body panels, to hold it in place, and is desirably at a location to be covered by the corresponding grip panel. The third screw may be engageable with a third nut which is carried by the other body panel and is at a location to be covered by the other grip panel.

6073381 - Universal thin walled finger groove adapter

A thin walled finger groove adapter for a handgun comprising a very thin ductile metal reinforcing plate encapsulated with thin front and back layers of elastomeric material. At least one finger groove projection is provided on the front surface of the adapter in registry with a hole through the reinforcing plate so that the projection is integral with both the front and back layers of encapsulating material. The finger groove adapter is substantially no greater than 0.040 inches thick with the metal plate being no more than about 0.015, and preferably about 0.010, inches thick. It is well suited for handgun users who have small hands. The finger groove adapter is molded in a flat condition and may be trimmed in the flat configuration to a variety of final shapes so as to accommodate mounting to a variety of different handgun handles. The finger groove adapter is sold in the flat or only slightly bent configuration, and is deformed into the appropriate shape for mounting to the handgun by the user.

5768817 - Gun handle grip

A gun handle grip including a first grip member and a second grip member. The first grip member has a first shell and a first reinforcing member bonded to an inner surface of the first shell and the second grip member has a second shell and a second reinforcing member bonded to an inner surface of the second shell. The inner surface of the first shell includes a first recess shaped to receive the first reinforcing member and the first reinforcing member is bonded to the first shell within the first recess. Similarly, the inner surface of the second shell includes a second recess shaped to receive the second reinforcing member and the second reinforcing member is bonded to the second shell within the second recess. The grip is further provided with structure for releasably securing the first grip member and the second grip member to opposite sides of the handle of a firearm. The gun handle grip provides a user with a comfortable gripping surface through which he or she may view the number of rounds remaining in the magazine compartment.
