Abstract
Disclosed in this invention are the slow-releasing medicated resin moldings which are the porous bodies obtained by stretching 1.1-10 times the resin compositions comprising 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin, 50 to 400 parts by weight of a filler and a drug(s) in an amount not less than the saturation dissolution rate for the thermoplastic resin, and a process for producing such slow-releasing medicated resin moldings.

6887492 - Magnesium plus interactive agent delivery - Owned by Leiner Health Services Corp. (Carson, CA)

The present invention is an orally administered pharmaceutical composition that provides for the controlled release of magnesium. The composition has an interactive agent component and a magnesium component which has an enteric coating that controls the release of the magnesium until the composition is in the small intestine or colon. The other component is released in the stomach and is substantially absorbed prior to the release of the magnesium component. Normally, the interactive agent component decreases the absorption of magnesium when the two components are released simultaneously in the gastrointestinal tract.

6814909 - Indicator - Owned by Sumitomo Chemical Company, Limited (Osaka,JP)

An indicator comprising a porous resin material, and a liquid retained in the pores of the porous resin material, in which the whiteness of the porous resin material is at least 80, and the whiteness of the porous resin material is at least 20 larger than that of the indicator. This indicator displays information such as a period through the change of a color tone, and the like, well maintains the displaying properties, and suffers from less variation of displayed periods.
