A quick release and connect nozzle assembly for use with a material dispensing head including a nozzle engagement member on a portion of the dispensing head, a nozzle member having an aperture therethrough for operable communication with the dispensing head to provide dispensing of the material in a predetermined pattern, and a connecting member integral with the nozzle member for engagement with the engagement member of the dispensing head, wherein the connecting member is operable by hand and provides quick release and connection of the nozzle member from the dispensing head so as to enable cleaning or replacement of the nozzle member as desired.
An adhesive supply unit used in palletizing applications having a multipositional head consisting of a module, service block, and head. Initially, the head is fastened to the service block forming a single head and service block unit. The head and service block unit may then be fastened to the adhesive supply unit in at least two ways at the lower module of the module. In one embodiment, the head and service block unit are vertically attached to the lower module so as to produce an adhesive swirl spray pattern. In another embodiment, the head and service block unit are horizontally attached to the lower module so as to produce an adhesive bead pattern.
A quick change micro dispensing tip with disposable liner for dispensing liquid such as viscous and non-viscous adhesives in electronic component assembling. A multi-pin, positioning and locking mechanism attaches the dispensing tip to the dispensing pump. This feature increases the positioning accuracy and repeatability of coupling the tip of the pump. Additionally, the time is decreased in the coupling the tip and pump. Therefore, there exists minimal malfunction due to misalignment of pump with tip. The disposable inner liner of the quick change, micro tip is a simplified, disposable intermediary passage for the adhesive through the coupled dispensing tip with pump. This liner comprised of non-adhesive compatible, disposable material, is captive and supported by the shell of the quick change micro tip. Therefore, the liner does not require the strength necessary in current tips by incorporate the disposability necessary for cost reduction and rapid change overs between operations.
An improvement for nozzle assembly for resolving the problem of fixed spraying angle of conventional nozzle assemblies. The nozzle assembly of the present invention includes a nozzle insert engageable with a nozzle body, and a cylindrical rubber washer set between them for sealing and enhancing the engagement. The nozzle insert has at least one lug with a semi-spherical bulge located thereon. The nozzle body has at least a locking bridge with a plurality of concave notches formed therein. Turning the nozzle insert, the bulge will engage with one of the notches. Thus the spraying angle is changeable by placing the bulge at different notches. The assembly may be quickly disconnected for maintenance or replacement.
A toilet fill valve includes an outlet pipe associated with a wash basin, an outlet tube associated with a wet-bowl configuration and an outlet assembly for filling the tank of the toilet. A blocking device includes a first plug for blocking the pipe in the absence of a wash basin, and a second plug for blocking the outlet tube in the absence of a wet-bowl configuration. An outlet assembly includes a deflector for directing water against a side wall of the tank, and an aerator for adding turbulence to the water in order to minimize noise associated with filling the tank with water.
The present invention includes a device for providing a blind hole for making a removable connection to an enclosure. The device has a cylindrical shaft with a proximal portion and a distal portion. A head is formed at the distal portion of the shaft. The proximal portion of the shaft has external threads, which may by threaded into a hole of the enclosure. The proximal portion also has a tapped bore, axially formed in the shaft, which has internal threads to receive another threaded device. The tapped bore is closed at the distal portion, such that when it receives the other threaded device, the other device does not intrude into the enclosure.
