5743836 - Structure of baby walker

A baby walker including a seat, an annular base frame, two pairs of wheels symmetrically mounted on the base frame, two links connected in parallel between the two pairs of wheels above the base frame, and two crossed supports connected between the links and the seat, wherein the base frame is comprised of an annular upper plate and an annular bottom plate; each wheel is comprised of a circular bottom shell fixedly coupled to the annular upper plate of the base frame and moved with it along the annular bottom plate of the base frame, and an upper shell pivoted to the circular bottom shell and having an arm pivoted to one end of one link.

5728030 - Infant training walker

An infant training walker has a base platform, a disk-shaped tread member rotatably supported approximately flush therewith, and a belt-shaped restraint spaced above the platform in eccentric relation to the tread member for laterally restraining an occupant of the walker. Preferably, a seat element having leg openings depends from the restraint, and the restraint is rotatable within a tray having an array of toy elements. Thus the occupant is encouraged to exercise in a variety of angular orientations relative to the tread member. The occupant can walk with both feet on the tread member, and can also keep one foot on the platform while moving the other foot on the tread member. The tray is adjustable in height, being supported from the platform on telescoping legs. A vertically extending seat back attachment can augment a back-supporting portion of the restraint when the walker is used by larger toddlers. The walker can also be adapted for use as a play room table, either by adding a tray cover after removing the restraint therefrom, or by inverting the walker with the tray removed and adding a platform cover.

6840150 - Device and method for safely removing the spindle and the breechblock from the carrier of an M777 howitzer - Owned by The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Army (Washington, DC)

A stool-like device for safely removing the spindle and the breechblock from the carrier of a howitzer. The device comprises a frame; rollers connected to the frame for sliding the bottom of the frame on the recoil slide rails of a howitzer until the frame is centered under the breechblock of the howitzer; and plates connected to the frame for receiving and holding the breechblock while permitting passage of the spindle through holes in the plates so that the spindle can be safely removed from the carrier of the howitzer without the breechblock dropping out of the carrier and causing bodily harm. After the spindle is removed, the breechblock can also be removed by raising the carrier and sliding the device out from under it.

6817864 - Infant motor skill developmental aid apparatus

An infant motor skill developmental aid apparatus is disclosed, which includes a support base having a planar top surface and a bottom surface, a top tray having an opening for accepting an infant upper body, and a connection means connected between the support base and the top tray. Further disclosed is a method of assisting infant motor skill development, which includes providing the infant motor skill developmental aid apparatus; placing an infant inside the apparatus through the opening of the top tray and having the infant sitting on the support base with arms on top of the top tray; adjusting the top tray to an appropriate height depending on the infant age; and having the infant playing inside the apparatus for a period of time. The apparatus and the method enhance infant's acquisition of normal motor and early learning skills.

7510238 - Interactive entertainer - Owned by LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (Emeryville, CA)

An interactive entertainer having a lower tray with a plurality of compressible legs supporting an upper tray. The lower tray is concave to permit rocking of the tray when placed on a flat surface. One or more supports coupled to the lower tray may be repositioned to inhibit rocking of the lower tray. The legs can fold into the lower tray following separation of the upper tray. The lower tray can then nest within the upper tray to provide compact storage. The upper tray can support a seat that is selectively rotatable or stationary based on a position of a seat lock. A plurality of interactive devices may be positioned on the upper tray. One or more sensors may be positioned relative to the seat to detect the orientation of the seat relative to the devices. The devices may be selectively enabled based on the seat orientation.
