Composition for washing keratinous materials, in particular hair and/or the skin, characterized in that it contains, in an aqueous medium, at least one silicone insoluble in this medium, at least one anionic, nonionic or amphoteric detergent surfactant and at least one scleroglucan optionally treated with glyoxal.
This is a continuation of application Ser. No. 07/964,107, filed Oct. 20, 1992; now abandoned which in turn is a continuation application of Ser. No. 07/595,979, filed Oct. 11, 1990, abandoned.
Novel cosmetic compositions intended for cleaning the hair, the scalp and/or the skin, based on detergent surfactants, silicone and clay are disclosed. These compositions may be used for example as shampoos or shower gels.
A cosmetic composition is provided comprising: A) a cosmetically acceptable carrier; and B) 0.05 to 3.0 % by weight, based on the weight of the total composition, of a .beta.-1,3-scleroglucan having a three-dimensional crosslinked triple helix structure and having a mean molecular weight of 1.times.10.sup.6 to 12.times.10.sup.6.

A conditioning and detergent hair-care composition having one washing base with at least one anionic surfactant and at least one C.sub.10 -C.sub.14 alkyl betaine amphoteric. surfactant, one conditioning system with at least one insoluble silicone, which is introduced into the composition in a non-emulsified form, and at least one C.sub.16 -C.sub.18 acid ester of a polyol for suspending the insoluble silicone and for pearlizing the composition.
A detergent hair composition of the type including, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, a washing base and at least one cationic polymer, and additionally comprising at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible silicone compound including a silicone main chain onto which at least one hydrocarbon group of anionic nature is grafted. This composition may be applied to clean, care and style hair and gives an improved styling effect.
