A vanity including a cabinet and a door is mounted next to a bathtub. The door closes the cabinet in an up position and serves as a tray in a down position.
A bathtub tray (10) includes a planar base (20) having first and second opposed ends (26, 32). The first end (26) of the planar base having at least one drain hole (30) therethrough. The tray includes a leg (34) extending downwardly from the second end (32) of the planar base. The planar base (20) has a length sufficient to span opposed edges (14, 16) of a bathtub (12). The first end is adapted to be supported by one of the bathtub edges and the leg is adapted to be supported by the other bathtub edge. The leg imparts an incline to the planar base to direct any accumulated liquid on the planar base to at least one drain hole. A rim 22 extends upwardly from the planar base to assist in directing any accumulated liquid toward the drain hole, wherein the leg includes a suction cup (36) adapted to be supported by the other bathtub edge (16). A ridge (40) may extend from the planar base and may be positioned adjacent the drain hole to assist in the direction of accumulated water to the drain hole.
