Abstract
A disruption generator is provided for use in an electronic animal confinement system for preventing undesirable correction of the animal in the vicinity of incidental conductive structures capable of coupling and re-radiating a transmitter signal for controlling the animal. The disruption generator produces a disruption signal for masking, preventing, or otherwise interfering with reception of the transmitter signal by an animal control receiver device mounted on the animal. The disruption generator can be connected to such incidental conductive structures as utility conduits, door frames, household wiring, and the like, to prevent undesirable correction of the animal in the vicinity thereof due to inductive or resonant coupling of the transmitter signal by such structures. Additionally, the disruption generator can be connected to a disruption antenna for providing a portion of the animal control area, for example, a corridor across the perimeter of the area, in which the animal control receiver will not apply a correction stimulus to the animal.

6371054 - System and method for inhibiting creatures from entering defined regions

An electrical shock system is provided for deterring birds from entering defined regions. The electrical shock system includes a wiring configuration that maximizes that amount of the defined regions that will be covered by the system while minimizing the amount of wires so that the system may be installed easily with efficient use of the necessary wires. As a result, the bird control system of the present invention will provide better coverage over the desired regions and will therefore provide more effective in permanently keeping the birds from returning to the desired regions.

6431122 - Wireless confinement and training system for an animal - Owned by Innotek, Inc. (Garrett, IN)

A method of providing wireless animal confinement includes the steps of selecting a location of a transmitter assembly; attaching a receiver assembly to the animal, the receiver assembly being adapted to selectively provide a corrective stimulation to the animal; selecting a first distance between the transmitter assembly and the receiver assembly to define a first zone within which no corrective stimulation is provided to the animal by the receiver assembly; selecting a second distance between the transmitter assembly and the receiver assembly to define a second zone beyond the first zone within which the corrective stimulation is provided to the animal by the receiver assembly; and selecting a third distance between the transmitter assembly and the receiver assembly to define a third zone beyond the second zone within which the animal will receive no further corrective stimulation from the receiver assembly.

6902521 - System and method to enhance growth and biological function of living systems with pulsed electromagnetic energy

The present invention is a system and method of enhancing growth and biological functions of living systems through application of pulsed electromagnetic energy. Electrical wiring is placed below the surface of a selected area such as a garden, athletic playing surface, livestock pen, or golf course for emission of electromagnetic energy to plants and animals, including humans. The electric wiring is connected to a electromagnetic generator which generates and controls the electromagnetic energy being applied. The electric wiring is placed below the surface of the selected area at a depth between 1 and 30 inches. The electromagnetic energy has a magnetic field component in the range of 0.5 to 30 Gauss, and the frequency range of the pulses between 0.5 and 30 Hertz.

6575120 - Animal control system - Owned by Dogwatch Inc. (Natick, MA)

An animal control system is provided in which an AM transmission signal includes qualification criteria which upon proper decoding provides intended stimuli to an animal. The transmit signal comprises modulated pulses having a first amplitude and a second amplitude which upon decoding represent logic zero and logic one states. The receiver employs microprocessor based digital circuitry for decoding and processing of the AM transmit signal. The transmit signal is transmitted in alternating odd and even frames, each of which has particular characteristics and which upon proper decoding by the receiver causes successive weak and strong stimuli to be provided to the animal.

7338431 - Method and apparatus to stimulate the immune system of a biological entity

A system and method for stimulating the immune systems of biological entities in an environment are disclosed. Pulsed electrical currents are generated using an electric current generator. The pulsed electrical currents are fed through an arrangement of electrically conductive material such that magnetic energy is emitted from the arrangement into the environment. The arrangement of electrically conductive material is designed such that an intensity of the emitted magnetic energy varies across at least one spatial dimension of the environment. Certain embodiments of the arrangement, which have width-to-length ratios of approximately 0.6, tend to provide variations in the intensity of the magnetic energy field which are very good for stimulating the immune systems of the biological entities.
