Abstract
A golfer's glove for maintaining the golfer's two hands in proper mutual position and maintaining effective grasp of the shaft of a golf club while swinging. The glove has the conventional main portion, four fingers, and a thumb. Novel features include an auxiliary finger chamber for engaging a finger of the hand opposite that wearing the glove, and a seam joining the thumb tightly to the conventional main portion. The auxiliary finger chamber is disposed between the index finger and the middle finger and is dimensioned and configured such that two joints of an inserted finger are restrained therein, and further assures that the two hands remain in proper relation to one another. Restraint of the thumb assists in eliminating uneven or asymmetric pressures exerted on the shaft of the golf club which would distort the swing. The attaching thumb seam extends beyond the knuckle of the index finger to assure no unwanted motion during the swing.

6725465 - Interlocking grip glove

A restraining loop attached to the outer peripheral edge of the index finger of a glove provides support for the little finger of the opposite hand inserted into the restraining loop. When wearing the glove, the golfer is prevented from shifting his hands while gripping the golf club and the proper alignment of the golfer's knuckles is maintained throughout the entire swing. The glove may also be used for baseball and other uses.

5768711 - Sports glove - Owned by Schiek Sports (Oshkosh, WI)

A glove with projections or tabs attached to the thumb and finger sheaths of the glove. The tabs can easily be grasped to provide an axial removal force along each finger sheath, thus enhancing removal of the glove from a wearer's hand. In one embodiment, each tab is an integrally formed triangular fin attached to the top portion of each glove finger at the distal-most end of the glove finger. The tabs permit the application of an axial force along each finger and have been found to be particularly effective in removing sports gloves that are provided with one-half and three-quarter finger sheaths that fit snugly around a wearer's fingers. In another embodiment, the tabs project beyond the ends of the finger sheaths.
