Abstract
A magazine for a nail-driving tool, which may be pneumatically powered or combustion-powered, is arranged to store a plurality of plural nail strips in side-by-side relationship. A spring-biased mechanism is used to bias the stored strips toward a side rail. Being movable along a frame between an advanced position and a retracted position, a feeding member in the retracted position engages the shank of an endmost nail of the stored strip nearest to the side rail. A negator spring mechanism biasing the feeding member toward the advanced position includes a leaf spring arranged to be longitudinally pulled between the nail heads of the stored ship nearest to the side rail and the nail heads of the next strip when the feeding member is moved from the advanced position into the retracted position. The feeding member has a wedging portion arranged to push between some of the nail shanks of the stored strip nearest to the side rail of the magazine and some of the nail shanks of the next strip and to lead the leaf spring when moved from the advanced position into the retracted position and a rail-engaging portion arranged to push between the side rail and some of the nail shanks nearest to the side rail when moved similarly. In an operative position, in which it can be releasably latched, a biasing member bears against the nearest strip. A floor member can be adjustably positioned. When latched, the biasing member latches the floor.

6053389 - Nailing gun magazine specially designed for big nail set - Owned by Sup Drogon Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Taichung Hsien,TW)

This invention relates to an improvement configuration of a nailing gun magazine specially designed for a big nail set. An anti-slip nut is used between the nail magazine and muzzle in order to reinforce their fastening strength and prevent them from being loosened. It also uses a .pi.-shaped reinforcement rib on the end face of the nail magazine that is correspondent to work piece. It can achieve better anti-collision ability and is resistant to deformation. Furthermore, a nail pushing segment sliding channel is fitted in the nail magazine. It can fix the coil of a coiled-spring to the end face of this sliding channel in order to locate the coiled spring out of the nail set piercing & loading hole.

6598777 - Connected nail supplying mechanism for nailing machine - Owned by Max Co., Ltd. (Tokyo,JP)

A magazine includes a nail guide surface and a movable guide wall. The nail guide surface is linear and continuous to a nail introducing opening and has a shoulder for supporting the nail heads of a connected nail assembly. The movable guide wall is confronted with the nail guide surface. In the magazine, a plurality of connected nail assemblies are loaded and placed in side-by-side relation, while being in contact with each other, between the nail guide surface and the movable guide wall. The plurality of connected nail assemblies are pressed against the guide surface of the magazine by pressing members provided on the movable guide wall. The movable guide wall is turned, for opening and closing, between a position being confronted with the nail guide surface of the magazine and a position at which the nail guide surface is opened.

6299046 - Nailing gun structure

A nailing gun structure including a gun body and a nail magazine. The gun body has a head section having a downward extending frame body. The nail magazine is disposed in the frame body and formed with multiple parallel nail channels with different types. The nail magazine is transversely movable to aim any of the nail channels at an inlet of the head section of the gun body. One end of each nail channel is formed with a passage through which a nail-pushing plate can be upward pushed into the nail channel for pushing the rows of nails received in the nail channels. The nail-pushing plate is driven by a driving unit disposed on the frame body to reciprocally move on the frame body so as to push different rows of nails in the nail channels into the head section of the gun body.

6708861 - Supply mechanism and nail magazine for connected nails in nailing machine - Owned by Max Co., Ltd. (Tokyo,JP)

A supply mechanism for connected nails in a nailing machine is provided. The nailing machine includes a driver for driving the connected nail and a nose having a nail introduction portion and accommodating the driver. The supply mechanism includes a magazine and a pressing member. The magazine includes a nail guide surface connected to the nail introduction portion of the nose, and the nail guide surface has a corner portion on an upper end thereof for supporting nail heads of the connected nails. The pressing member is opposed to the nail guide surface of the magazine. The connected nails are stored in the magazine and held between the nail guide surface and the pressing member, and the connected nails contacted with the nail guide surface are supplied to the nose of the nailing machine.

6036072 - Nailer magazine - Owned by De Poan Pneumatic Corporation (Taipei Hsien,TW)

A nailer magazine, comprising: a magazine body, having a main axis and a free rear end; a gliding plate, glidingly movable into the magazine body into a mounted position and out of the magazine body through the rear end thereof; a holding plate, attached to the rear end of the magazine body; and a blocking system, attached to the rear end of the gliding plate for holding the gliding plate in the mounted position. The blocking system further comprises: a main body; a gliding element; a spring; and a blocking element. The gliding element is glidingly movable inside the main body in a direction perpendicular to the main axis, having an externally accessible upper end to be pushed manually into the main body. The spring is laid into the main body, pushing the gliding element towards the upper end thereof. The blocking part is connected to the gliding element and extends out of the main body for engaging with the holding plate when the gliding plate is in the mounted position, so as to fix the gliding plate therein.
