A controller for a video game console includes first and second handheld control units. Each of the handheld control units has a housing with a finger operating surface that is provided with a control button, and a transmitting unit for transmitting signals to the video game console when the control button unit is operated. An interconnecting unit is provided for releasably interconnecting the housings of the control units.
A game machine operation device wherein a first grip section and a second grip section have their outer sides curved into the shape of an arc, with the curved surfaces serving as guide sections along which the operator can move his palms. Therefore, the operator is capable of placing his hands or fingers used for operating the device in a comfortable position on the first and second grip sections and freely move his hands or fingers along the curved surfaces. In conventional game machine operation devices, the grip sections are formed so as to extend vertically downward, which prevents the operator from changing the position of his hands, depending on his hand size, so that an operator with large hands cannot operate the operation device easily, causing him to get tired hands or fingers.
A modular building unit (1-6, 1A) including a building block (10, 10A) having lower and upper faces (9, 9A, 11, 11A), side faces (12, 12A, 13, 13A) and end faces (14, 14A). At least the lower and upper faces are provided with mounting strips (21-24, 53A, 54A) interfit with mating mounting strips (21-24, 53A, 54A) on similar adjacent modular building units (1-6, 1A) to join the adjoining building block units (1-6, 1A) in predetermined dimensionally accurate relationships. A method of securing the mounting strips (21-24, 53A, 54A) to the building block or brick (10, 10A) and the method of interlocking and securing adjacent modular building units (1-6, 1A) to each other are disclosed. A preferred embodiment of mounting strips (53A, 54A) is shown in FIGS. 8-10. A mold (203) is shown in FIG. 12 for the preferred method of forming a building block or brick (200).
A connection-fighting type game machine that enables game character progression when game machines are physically connected together. The connection-fighting type liquid crystal game machine may be connected to another game machine of the same kind. Convex and concave sections of the housing of each machine assist in aligning the machines when they are connected together. A growth degree changing processing section improves the growth degree of the character that has gained a victory, performs a growth degree changing processing by leaving as it is or lowering the growth degree of the character that has suffered a defeat.
