A perfumed doll including a doll, an outer tubular member inserted into the doll, the outer tubular member being open at both ends thereof and provided with internal threads at an upper end thereof, a collar fixedly mounted on the upper end of the outer tubular member and formed with a neck at a central portion thereof, a sleeve having a neck snugly fitted into a lower end of the outer tubular member, an inner tubular member open at a top thereof, the inner tubular member being provided with an enlarged end at a bottom thereof and external threads at an upper end thereof, the inner tubular member being inserted into the outer tubular member with the external threads engaged with the internal threads, and a wick fitted within the inner tubular member and extending upwardly out of the collar.
A plush article is given a coating of wax which is imbued with a scent substance that diffuses slowly over time. That way, this coated scented plush article doubles not only as an ornamental accessory but also as a disguised air freshener.
A stuffed, soft body scent-emitting character (10) formed from a fabric material (12) and filled with a stuffing material to provide volumetric definition of the character with a chamber that receives scent-emittive materials sensible exterior thereof and defining a scent indicia. At least one visual indicia correlated with the scent emittive material attaches to the fabric material and is selected from a group comprising a name indicia and a coloring indicia. The character, receiving the scent emittive material in the chamber, provides a soft toy that emits the scent correlated with the visual indicia.
A pet crematory receptacle having a decorative housing in the general form of, and preferably the likeness of, the deceased pet containing at least one internal sealable chamber having an opening for receiving the cremated remains of the deceased pet. The chamber is adopted to receive the crematory ashes and has an opening capable of being closed by a cover, preferably disposed in the base of the urn. The sealable chamber is adapted to receive a sealed container which houses the cremated remains. The urn, can contain a strategically positioned receptacle or place to accept memorabilia of the deceased pet such as a plaque or picture.
A fragrance dispensing device suitable for incorporation into a plush figure. In one of the preferred embodiments of this invention, the fragrance dispensing device comprises a hollow body in the form of a sphere or a ball having a slit valve or a one-way valve disposed within the wall of the hollow body. A scented cartridge is inserted into the hollow body through the valve or some other resealable opening in the hollow body. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the fragrance dispensing device is encompassed within an appendage or the head of a stuffed animal figure. Once the hollow is charged with the fragrance cartridge, it can be compressed so as to force a discrete charge of scented air from within the hollow body, into its surrounding core material which make the filler of the stuffed animal figure. The amount of fragrance dispensed from within the hollow body is based, in part, upon the volume of the hollow body and the partial pressure of the fragrance within the cartridge. Thus, if the fragrance is highly volatile, more fragrance will be present in the discrete charge emitted from the hollow body. Where additional scent is desired, the hollow body can be repeatedly compressed to discharge additional discrete charges of fragrance into the environment.
An air freshener for use in an automobile, home, or office representing an animal, cartoon character, or other figure. At least one scent-releasing capsule is inserted through a mouth formed within a body of the figure and retained therein. Optionally the body can have a distinct head member. Likewise, a hanger can be provided from which to hang the air freshener. The scent-releasing capsule releases scent through the air-permeable body and into the surrounding air. Additional fresh capsules can be inserted through the mouth and retained by the body member when the scent-releasing capsule has been spent.
