This is a display rack assembly particularly designed for displaying greeting cards for inspection by prospective customers and which is constructed of a plurality of elongated sections each of which includes a front retaining flange at the forward edge portion of a supporting shelf and which has an upwardly extending back panel with a connecting hook at the top thereof for receiving the front upstanding retaining flange 13 to provide a connection between two adjacent sections.
An adaptable retail merchandise product display system is particularly suited for display and storage of printed media in planar or roll form. The system includes display cassettes supported in tiers in a cabinet or rack; adjustable roll trays which accommodate rolled merchandise in various roll widths and also supported in tiers in a cabinet or rack; a fin to support merchandise displays and with integral storage compartments; and display spinners having a central vertical axis and radially extended attachment points between which display media extends in a concave form to maximize displayed surface area. The various aspects of the adaptable display can be combined in different arrangements according to the type of merchandise and the retail environment.
In one aspect, the present invention is directed to an improved display device that accommodates articles or display receptacles having a plurality of different dimensions. In a preferred embodiment, the display device includes a product identifier ("PID") card having a plurality of folds and at least one pre-cut area. The folds and pre-cut area can be manipulated to provide a booster for short greeting cards. The folds can also be manipulated to convert the display article for use in connection with spinner-type display units. The PID of a preferred embodiment can include a vertically disposed label area that remains unobstructed when tall cards are placed in or in front of the display device. In another aspect, the invention relates to a display device having a non-linear upper edge that can form a contiguous pattern in cooperation with adjacent display devices. In a preferred embodiment, the PID can further include a top edge having an arcuate or other patterned configuration, wherein the edge forms a continuous pattern when multiple PIDs are installed adjacent one another.
A display rack has flat-bottomed compartments for holding stacks of generally planar, sheet material items in a manner which prevents lower ends of the items from being squeezed when the items are inserted or removed from the compartments. The rack has a back wall, two side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall that bound an upright space. A plurality of supports are secured to the back wall and support a plurality of partitioning walls, one above another, along a vertical direction in mutual parallelism along an angle of inclination. Each support has a first mounting element having an upper base surface that directly engages and supports all the lower ends of the items, and a second mounting element connected to a respective partitioning wall.
A window treatment swatch card and a swatch card display for displaying a plurality of groups of swatch cards. Each swatch card has an actual sample of window treatment material and indicia identifying information associated with the particular window treatment material attached on a first portion thereof. Each swatch card within each group is provided with indicia identifying information associated with the corresponding sample on a second portion thereof. The display unit includes a plurality of columns of pockets, each of which is closely sized for one group of said swatch cards to be removably stored therein in an upright fashion. The swatch cards, having a height slightly greater than that of each pocket, permit each different sample to be viewed before being removed from the pocket and taken home and kept by the consumer.
In a method for selling window coverings a set of swatch cards and sample blinds are provided in a display unit. The swatch cards contain a piece of window covering material and a pricing table for a product being offered for sale. The card may contain other information about the product such as options and options. Each set of swatch cards will contain samples of all window covering materials available for the type of product with which the cards are associated.
