Abstract
An automatic lawn treatment dispensing unit (10) for a main water supply assembly (12) comprising a container (14) for holding a liquefied substance, such as a fertilizer or pesticide therein. A structure (16) is for coupling a lower end of the container (14) into the main water supply assembly (12). A facility (18) is provided for filling the liquefied substance into the container (14) through an upper end thereof. An assemblage (20) is for siphoning the liquefied substance out of the container (14), through the coupling structure (16) and into the main water supply assembly (12) to be dispersed onto a lawn (22).

6173732 - Fertilizer system

A chemical feeding system for adding either liquid or 100% water soluble solid chemicals including fertilizer, insecticide and a herbicide to a lawn sprinkler system either above or below ground level. The system has one or two vertically oriented mixing chambers containing a removable sponge filter. An effluent tube is attached to the bottom of the mixing chamber for recycling through an adjustable flow meter valve. A drain tube with a shutoff valve and a one-way check valve leads to the main sprinkler system.

6533193 - Solution introduction system for watering installations

A solution fertilizer introduction system for use with automatic lawn watering systems which include an attachment arrangement for introducing liquid fertilizers to underground lawn watering systems. The system may also be used with other chemicals such as weed killers, bug killers or the like that are available in a liquid state for application to lawns. The system includes a quick connect arrangement from the supplied material source to the watering system for removal and replacement of the same and a flow measurer for correlating the additive introduction or flow to water flow with metering and a timer for controlling the additive to produce a desired lawn. A microprocessor may be utilized for control of the additive.

6161779 - Lawn fertilizing apparatus having a detachable body which has two separate water outlets defined therein - Owned by Gilmour, Inc. (Somerset, PA)

An apparatus for dissolving and dispensing liquid dissolvable material includes a container having a mixing chamber defined therein. The apparatus also includes a body removably secured to an upper portion of the container. The body has a fluid inlet, a first fluid outlet, a second fluid outlet, and a central passage defined therein. The central passage is in fluid communication with each of the fluid inlet, the first fluid outlet, and the second fluid outlet. The central passage is also in fluid communication with the mixing chamber such that each of the fluid inlet, the first fluid outlet, and the second fluid outlet is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber. Moreover, the apparatus includes a cap secured to the first fluid outlet of the body so as to prevent fluid from advancing through the first fluid outlet. Yet further, the apparatus includes a sprinkler assembly secured to the second fluid outlet of the body. Fluid is advanced from the mixing chamber via a first fluid path which includes the central passage, the second fluid outlet, and the sprinkler assembly.

7270749 - Pump system - Owned by Intellicool LLC (Richardson, TX)

A pumping system comprising: (a) an inlet adapted for connection with a supply of low pressure water; (b) a filtration unit in fluid communication with the inlet, wherein the filtration unit filters impurities from the low pressure water so as to discharge a flow of filtered water; (c) a pump in fluid communication with the filtration unit, the pump adapted to discharge a flow of pressurized water; (d) a valve manifold in fluid communication with the pump, the valve manifold comprising at least two discharge ports, the valve manifold operable to individually actuate each discharge port so as to regulate fluid flow therethrough, each discharge port being capable of discharging a stream of high pressure water; and (e) at least a respective number of outlets as discharge ports, each outlet in fluid communication with a respective discharge port so as to receive the stream of high pressure water.
