A device for attaching a rope thereto, having a rope holding mechanism comprising a first and second pinching members, coupled together to form a tapered space that includes a bight section, and a wide section; and a resilient device, coupled to the holding mechanism proximate to the bight section. The resilient device having a securing portion that secures the resilient device to the holding mechanism; and a holding portion that releasably holds the rope to the holding mechanism. There may be a base plate, including: an attachment plate section, and a storage plate section. There may be to provide a rotatable hinge device, mounted between the attachment plate section and the rope holding mechanism, designed to rotate in a clockwise and counterclockwise fashion that is parallel to a surface of the base plate, and to rotate in an angle away from the surface of the base plate. There may be a support plate, coupled to the first and second pinching members, and having the resilient device mounted thereto so that the securing portion is positioned under the support plate, and the holding portion is positioned above the support plate. There may be a notch, positioned along the support plate to allow contact with the holding portion, having sufficient width to retain the rope therein. Additionally, there may be a holder, positioned on the storage plate section.

A positioning device of a freight rope fixture includes a metallic plate, an urging seat, a torsion spring, and an insertion pin. The urging seat is pivotally mounted between the two opposite wings of the metallic plate and has a first end formed with an urging portion, and a second end formed with a press portion. The torsion spring may force the urging portion of the urging seat to rest on the bent hook portion of the metallic plate. Thus, the torsion spring may force the urging portion of the urging seat to rest on the side plate of the freight truck, thereby achieving a previous locking and positioning effect, so that the rope may be used to bind the freight easily.

A generally Y-shaped winch assembly is described for use with a trailer or truck. The winch assembly includes a stem portion having a pair of horizontally spaced-apart plates extending upwardly from the upper end thereof. A strap receiver mechanism is rotatably mounted on the plates and is controlled by a conventional winch ratchet assembly. A spring-loaded hook member is mounted on the stem portion for engagement with the lower end of a side rail, the lower end of the side area of the trailer, or the lower end of a stand-off plate to maintain the winch assembly in a desired position at one side of the trailer.

A connector (20) for quickly and easily connecting an anchor strap (50) having an upper end (52) and a lower end (56) to a sidewall bracket (73) of a manufactured home (70); the sidewall bracket 70 having an elongate horizonal slot (77). Connector (20) includes a central portion (22) including a cut (44) for connecting strap (50). An attachment portion (30), including a neck (31) and a head (34), is adapted to be maneuverable for easy attachment to slot (77). Attached connector (20) is pivotable about an axis substantially perpendicular to an attached tensioned strap (50). A connector assembly (10) includes strap (50) already attached to connector (20). The method of using connector assembly (10) includes attaching strap (50) to an anchor (80).

A trailer strap bracket system for effectively and securely connecting a hook of a trailer strap to a trailer. The trailer strap bracket system includes a frame including an opening and an upper end attached to a trailer, and a catch member extending rearwardly and upwardly from the frame for receiving a hook from a strap. The frame includes a lower portion that is rounded for receiving a portion of the strap when the hook of the strap is attached to the catch member.
