Abstract
An airbag barrier positioned in the front seat of a vehicle for shielding a child passenger from impact from an inflating airbag. The first embodiment is directed to protection of a child secured in the front seat by a seat belt and comprises two barrier members having a top portion, a middle portion, and a downwardly extending lower portion. The top portion and the bottom portion engage the seat. The second embodiment is directed to a child seated in a front facing child car seat and comprises barrier members having a top portion connected to the top of the child car seat, a vertical middle portion and a lower portion connected to the bottom of the child car seat. The third embodiment is directed to a child seated in a rearwardly facing car seat and comprises barrier members attached on either side of the child car seat and extending outwardly to be supported against the seat of the vehicle.

An infant seat is disclosed which comprises: a seat/back member having opposite side portions; a frontal frame having opposite side portions each pivoted and releasably attached to a corresponding side portion of the integral seat/back member; a harness connected to the opposite side portions of the frontal frame and extending therebetween to restrain an infant seated in the vehicle seat when the frontal frame is attached thereto; and, a releasable frame lock for securing the frontal frame to the seat/back member. Most preferably the releasable frame lock is only accessible from a back portion of the seat so that an infant secured in the seat can not release himself therefrom. An airbag restraining guard is carried by opposite side portions of the frame to protect an infant against a rapidly expanding airbag in the vehicle.

6565154 - Portable forward leaning stadium seat

A portable forward leaning seating device to be used on a bleacher at sporting events to provide the user with superior support to that portion of his back which is most susceptible to fatigue and pain. The device consists of a padded seat (10) attached to a seat frame (12) which is securely attached to the bleacher by a spring loaded hook (42). The user sits on the padded seat (10) by facing the sporting event with the adjustable vertical support sleave (14) positioned between the user's thighs. The user rests his arms on the padded horizontal arm rests (16) which are positioned using the adjusting knob (32) and spring loaded tab (38) in such a way to provide comfortable support to the torso of the user in a forward leaning fashion. The lock clasp (20) serves to lock the vertical support armature (18) securely in place.
