A topsheet for a disposable wearing article that is formed with a plurality of fine openings each having an area of about 0.16-5 mm.sup.2 and a part of the peripheral edge of each opening is protuberated upward from an upper surface of the topsheet. The topsheet is thereby improved so that body fluids can be rapidly absorbed and stuffiness as well as eruption of the wearer's skin can be reliably avoided.

A textured film device formed from at least one layer of gathered textured film. These devices are capable of producing excellent lather when used with a cleanser and are soft to the touch. Other textured film devices include mitts, gloves, washcloths, and the like formed from at least one layer of textured film. Also provided are systems comprised of the textured film devices and at least one active material selected from cleansers; moisturizers, conditioners; sunscreens; shaving foams; tanning agents; anti-acne agents; anti-aging agents; anti-irritant agents; perfumes/fragrances; and mixtures thereof.

A solid cleanser holder comprising at least one textured film having texture variations including at least one aperture and a solid cleanser, wherein the at least one textured film surrounds the solid cleanser. The solid cleanser holders are not only gentle to the skin but also capable of reducing slip and creating superior lather. Methods of ameliorating the formation of mush on a solid cleanser are also disclosed. The method comprises enclosing a solid cleanser within a textured film having texture variations. Another embodiment relates to methods for making a solid cleanser holder. This method comprises enclosing a solid cleanser within a textured film such that the textured film surrounds the solid cleanser. Methods of cleansing and/or exfoliating the skin comprising the use of the solid cleansers described above are also disclosed.
