A golf swing training device for improving the swing of a golfer. The device includes a base block with a plurality of elongate guide rods extending therefrom whose tips demarcate the proper path of a head of a golf club when swinging the golf club at the golf ball. A spaced apart pair of generally rectangular stabilizing legs are outwardly extended from the distal face of the base block. The stabilizing legs each are positioned adjacent the bottom side of the base block such that the lower portions of the stabilizing legs and the bottom side of the base block are coplanar with one another.
The invention relates to a golf swing training device that comprises a platform, and a substantially vertical support for supporting the platform above a ground surface. This platform is raised above the ground surface to allow a club head to swing under this platform. In a preferred embodiment, the substantially vertical support comprises a series of legs that are vertically adjustable and also set on a hinge under the platform. This hinge allows the legs to be collapsed under the platform. The platform is designed to have a series of displaceable poles or bristles designed to outline a swing path for a golf club. When the golf club is swinging in this swing path, the golf club head is held under the platform during the swing. Once the swing has been completed, the club head is released from an underside face of the platform to allow the club head to rise up. In addition, in the preferred embodiment the swing trainer contains an adjustable plate that controls the movement of displaceable poles in the system so that a person's swing path can be adjusted.
A golf swing training guide device for training a golfer's golf swing. This golf swing training guide includes a stand, a telescoping arm coupled to the stand, an extending arm and a flexible swing guide member which can be selectively coupled to the extending arm. This device can be formed in at least two different embodiments. In both of the embodiments, the device can be stored in a compact manner before putting the device in use.
A golf putt training apparatus is provided which assists a golfer in maintaining the putter head along an intendded target line while practicing a putting stroke. The training apparatus includes a pair of mutually opposing guide rails having plurality of substantially rigid teeth projecting in the direction of the opposing guide rail which stop the putter head from advancing off the intended target line. By leaving to advance the putter head between the guide rails without engaging the rigid teeth a golfer can develop a habit of keeping the putter head on the desired target line during a putting stroke.
A golfing aid comprising a guide structure in the form of a base member with a plurality of swing deviation indicators pivotally mounted thereon with the indicators positioned on opposite sides of a desired area defining an intended club head swing path, the deviation indicators are each yieldably mounted in a manner to allow a responding rotation upon being struck by a club head deviating from the intended club head swing path.
