A structured cosmetic composition and process of structuring a cosmetic composition comprising at least one amphiphilic compound, at least one dyestuff, and at least one continuous liquid fatty phase structured with a sufficient amount of at least one structuring polymer, wherein the structured composition is in the form of a non-migrating and wax-free solid and wherein the at least continuous liquid fatty phase, the at least one structuring polymer, the at least one amphiphilic compound, and the at least one dyestuff form a physiologically acceptable medium.

Cosmetic compositions comprising at least one structuring polymer chosen from polymers of following formula (I): ##STR00001## in which n denotes a number of amide units, such that the number of ester groups represents from 10% to 50% of the total number of ester and amide groups; R.sup.1 is, in each case, independently an alkyl or alkenyl group having at least 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 independently represents, in each case, a C.sub.4 to C.sub.42 hydrocarbonaceous group, provided that 50% of the R.sup.2 groups represent a C.sub.30 to C.sub.42 hydrocarbonaceous group; R.sup.3 independently represents, in each case, an organic group provided with at least 2 carbon atoms, with hydrogen atoms and optionally with one or more oxygen or nitrogen atoms; and R.sup.4 independently represents, in each case, a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl group or a direct bond to R.sup.3 or another R.sup.4, so that the nitrogen atom to which both R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are bonded forms part of a heterocyclic structure defined by R.sup.4--N--R.sup.3, with at least 50% of the R.sup.4 groups representing a hydrogen atom and at least one solid substance that has a melting point of 45.degree. C. or greater.

A method of making a physiologically acceptable mascara composition comprising at least one polymer, such as a structuring polymer, chosen from polymers of following formula (I): ##STR00001## in which n is an integer which represents the number of amide units such that the number of ester groups present in said at least one structuring polymer ranges from 10% to 50% of the total number of all said ester groups and all said amide groups comprised in said at least on structuring polymer; R.sup.1, which are identical or different, are each chosen from alkyl a groups with at least 4 carbon atoms and alkenyl groups with at least 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.2, which are identical or different, are each chosen from C.sub.4 to C.sub.42 hydrocarbon-based groups with the proviso that at least 50% of R.sup.2 are chosen from C.sub.30 to C.sub.42 hydrocarbon-based groups; R.sup.3, which are identical or different are each chosen from C.sub.2 to C.sub.36 hydrocarbon-based groups; and R.sup.4, which are identical or different, are each chosen from hydrogen and C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl groups, with the proviso that at least 50% of all R.sup.4 are chosen from hydrogen; and at least one inert filler.

The invention relates to a transparent or translucent colored cosmetic composition for making up the skin, lips and superficial body growths comprising a transparent or translucent cosmetic base and at least one coloring agent in an amount such that the transmission of a 10 .mu.m layer of the final composition, measured at the wavelength of the maximum of one of the absorption peaks of the coloring agent, is between 20% and 80%.

The invention relates to a physiologically acceptable composition, especially a cosmetic composition, comprising at least one liquid fatty phase which comprises at least one fluoro oil, wherein the at least one liquid fatty phase is structured with at least one structuring polymer chosen from polyamide polymers of formula (I).
