A folding ramp which contains at least two ramp members which are pivoted together. The underside of the ramp has a plurality of bars or rods which form part of the pivot mechanism and which, in addition, add strength and structural rigidity to the ramp.
A pet ramp assembly including a pair of elongated, molded first and second ramp components hinged together at adjoining ends by a simple pivot pin. A pair of side-locking pins serve the dual purpose of locking the folded structure together and alternatively locking the extended ramp-forming structure in its extended configuration while simultaneously providing additional structural support at the pivot point. The apparatus is made of light-weight, injection molded plastic material, and is provided with a non-slip surface on its upper side. The ground-engaging end and vehicle-engaging end are also specially configured to prevent slippage and dislodgment during use. The apparatus also includes disconnectable legs for allowing the ramp assembly to be used as a grooming table, examination table, game-cleaning table etc.
The rig mat is laid on a substrate to provide a surface to bear and distribute weight over the substrate. The rig mat call be used individually or juxtaposed in an assembly of mats to provide the bearing surface. The rig mat has a top plate and a bottom plate disposed in parallel alignment. A spacer grate is sandwiched between and fixed to the plates. An edge binder is disposed around the perimeter edges of the plates to bind them together and to enclose the spacer grate within the space between the plates. The spacer grate is made up of a number of grating bars disposed in a parallel to each other. Cross-rods disposed in parallel to each other and perpendicular to the grating bars pass through and attach to the grating bars to fix the spacing between the grating bars.
A portable ramp and load support assembly including a pair of rigid, elongated, first and second ramp components hinged together at adjoining ends by a simple pivot pin. The apparatus is made of light-weight, injection molded plastic material, and is provided with a resilient, non-slip surface on its upper side. The ground-engaging end and vehicle-engaging end are also specially configured to prevent slippage and dislodgment during use. The assembly also includes a plurality of accessory parts including disconnectable legs for allowing the ramp apparatus to be used as a grooming table, examination table, game-cleaning table, etc., and floats, wheels, pull handles and other accessories that can be attached to extend the utility of the apparatus.
A wheelchair ramp assembly (10) is disclosed as including a first ramp section (22) and a second ramp section (24) joined by a keyway joint (26). The keyway joint (26) connects the two ramp section (22, 24) surfaces when the ramp is in an extended position. The keyway joint (26) includes a first ramp section outer rotating member (64a) and a second ramp section outer rotating member (64b) that each rotate about an inner member (68). The inner member (68) is configured to limit the rotation of the outer members (64) with respect to one another, thereby limiting the rotation of the first ramp section (22) with respect to the second ramp section (24).
An apparatus for loading bikes and motorcycles from the ground to a higher elevation such as into a transport vehicle without lifting. The apparatus permits the user to walk the bike or motorcycle into up a vehicle on a foldable, for easy storage, arcuate ramp. The user holds onto the bike or motorcycle and walks up the ramp from behind the cycle in a first embodiment; or adjacent to the vehicle into the van or truck in a second embodiment. The second embodiment includes a series of spaced steps or U-rungs on one or both sides of the ramp. Both versions fold for easy storage and portability and both embodiments can be separated into two parts for easy linear storage if needed.
