A bunting bag, particularly well suited for use with children and child carriers, has a top portion detachably coupled to a bottom portion so that the top portion may be completely removed from the bottom portion. The bottom portion is configured or shaped to nest or mate in the child carrier without folds or substantial overhangs. The bottom portion has a head, back, seat, leg, left and right portions and surface area. The top portion has a head, body, and leg portion and preferably covers the bottom portion. The top portion has a surface area less than the surface area of the bottom portion. A first and second two-way zipper couples the bottom end and left and right side of the top and bottom portions. The zippers allow the head portion to fold over the body portion to expose the child's head. In addition, the head and body portions may fold over the leg portion. Furthermore, the leg portion may fold up over the body portion to expose the child's legs. The bunting bag may also be sized and configured for use with adults and seats.
The sleeping bag is an insulated bag for covering and protecting the body of a user when the user is seated. The bag is formed from front and rear fabric sheets joined to one another and sized and shaped to receive the body of the user. At least one pair of slots is formed through the front fabric sheet to receive a seatbelt attached to a chair, such as an airplane seat, thus selectively securing both the user and the insulating bag to the seat. Alternatively, or in addition to the seatbelt slots, a pair of slots may be formed through the front fabric sheet for providing the user's hands free access to the external environment.
A bunting which attaches to a seat and a bunting that protects a child from the elements is disclosed. The bunting may be used on the seat of a stroller but not limited thereto. The bunting, fabricated from a material blank for wrapping about the child, has a draft shield attached to a first edge on a front of the material blank, a hood attached to a top edge of the material blank, a back having disposed thereon slots for receiving straps attached to the seat therethrough and means for fastening the first edge and a second edge of the material blank for closing the material blank about the child, such as a zipper. The zipper allowing partial access to the child when tending is necessary without the need to completely unzip the full length of the zipper thereby allowing the child to be tended without exposure to cold drafts when the child is in the seat without having to undo the straps and to completely open and to separate the material blank while selectively allowing the bunting to remain with the seat when the child is removed.
A stroller includes a stroller frame and a seat assembly attached to the stroller frame. The seat assembly has a seat and a backrest extending from a back side of the seat. The stroller also includes an infant retention member having a main section mounted to the seat assembly. The retention member is movable between a stowed position and a use position. When the retention member is in the stowed position, the main section lies over the seat so that an infant sitting on the seat sits on the main section. When the retention member is in the use position, the main section stands substantially upright from the seat to block forward movement of an infant lying on the seat.
A stroller and safety seat combination includes a panel has a front edge, a back edge, a pair of side edges, a top side, and a bottom side. The panel is generally arcuate so that the top side is generally concave from the front edge to the back edge. A pair of side walls is attached to the panel such that each is attached to one of the side edges and extends upwardly therefrom. A strap assembly adapted for releasably securing a child against the top side of the panel is attached to the panel. A coupler is attached to the bottom side of the panel. The coupler is adapted for removably receiving a seatbelt. A pair of wheels is rotatably coupled to the bottom side of the panel. A push handle is attached to the panel and is positioned adjacent to the back edge.
A travel wrap with a central portion for covering a seat structure, first and second wing members for selectively blanketing a seat occupant, and a cap portion for retaining the central portion relative to a seat. First and second apertures can receive seat belt straps to enable the seat occupant to be secured relative to the seat structure. Third and fourth apertures can enable the seat belt straps to be threaded through the travel wrap to allow the seat belt arrangement to be fastened exterior to a blanketed configuration of the wing members. The cap portion can have first and, possibly, second pockets for receiving the upper end of the seat back, and a pillow can be associated with one face of the travel wrap for enabling the travel wrap to be applied reversibly and to enable the selective provision of a pillow.
