AbstractEnvironmentally-safer resin-solvent compositions are provided which are generally free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The solvent and resin-solvent compositions may replace high-VOC hydrocarbon solvents for use in inks, coatings, adhesives and the like. These novel compositions are negligibly reactive with hydroxyl radicals and therefore are able to reach higher into the atmosphere before decomposing.
