The swinging pillow has a shape which can maintain the proper position of a user's backbone and can facilitate the user's turning over onto his side. The pillow can have a built-in sound source in its interior so that the pillow can be used also for relaxation or for the purpose of treatment sleeping disorders, such as sleeplessness, and has a function equal to or near that of an earphone or headphone, without employing such devices. The swinging pillow comprises a pillow body for accepting a user's head and left and right rising portions formed, respectively, as rising end portions positioned at both ends of the pillow body extending in a direction of a user's shoulder-width. The pillow is curved as a whole, being generally U-shaped, thus, the whole portion of the pillow functions as a pillow. Within the inside of at least one of the left and right rising portions, there can be provided a sound source.
The arched pillow assembly allows a user to comfortably sleep with an arm underneath his or her head and a pillow without restricting the circulation of blood through the arm. The arched pillow assembly includes a pillowcase that holds a conventional pillow and has two spaced apart pockets attached to the bottom of the pillowcase for snugly receiving and holding a rigid arch support. Once placed on a resting surface, the arch support has a radius of curvature sufficient to form a channel thereunder for accommodating the passage of an extended arm. The arch is strong enough to support the head of the user and the pillow in an elevated position above the extended arm and the resting surface, thereby preventing the weight of the head and pillow from restricting proper circulation of blood through the extended arm.
An improved pillow consisting of a curved plate, a cushion having a thin middle portion and thick end portions and which may optionally consists of at least one inflatable air bag, and a fabric which encloses the cushion and the curved plate; the curved plate optionally consisting of at least two curved segment plates linked together by at least another curved plate; an improved pillow having an upper surface which has a valley in the center and a peak at each end.
The present invention 10 discloses a sun visor or canopy 20 attached by an extendable/flexible means 34 to a pillow 40 shaped to comfortably receive the head of a user 12. The pillow 40 comprises a main enclosure 36 having a protective cover 56 thereon for protection from the elements. The main enclosure houses a radio 46 having volume 42 and station selector 44 and a battery power source 54 for providing music to the user 12 as the user 12 uses the present invention 10. The extendable/flexible element 34 allows the canopy 20 to be adjustably moved about. Hooks 32 are provided on the present invention in order to attach it to the back 24 of a lawn chair 22.
