The present invention relates to a mobile platform or cart that ergonomically assembles video, audio, data aid power management devices. This platform aligns these devices to insure their safe transport and optimum presentation capabilities. More particularly, the invention conserves use in a classroom setting to enhance the classroom teachers' presentation capabilities. The Mobile Data/Audio/Video/Interactive Presentation Cart allows the school and classroom teachers to safely transport and share the technology from classroom to classroom as needs require.

A mobile teaching station includes a mobile teaching surface designed to support a plurality of teaching props during instruction of students. A mobile storage facility for storing the teaching props is disposed proximate the mobile teaching surface and operably coupled thereto. The mobile teaching station further includes devices for readily transporting the mobile teaching surface to a desired teaching site. A method of facilitating mobile teaching of students includes the steps of (a) providing a mobile teaching surface designed to support a plurality of teaching props during instruction of students, (b) providing a mobile storage facility for storing the teaching props proximate the mobile teaching surface and operably coupled thereto, and (c) providing devices for readily transporting the mobile teaching surface to a desired teaching site.

In addition, the utility cart in accordance with the present invention includes end members having "I" beam type construction, the top table and the bottom table have panel members which pivot from an upright position to form a recessed top table and/or a recessed bottom table to a downward position to form a substantially flat top table and/or a substantially flat bottom table and a handle having an organizer integrally built therein, including a beverage container holder, a storage tray and one or more storage compartments.

A dolly for transporting multiple containers. The dolly is provided with a plurality of casters which allow it to spin on its footprint. Supports, each of which can carry a container, are hinged together allowing the dolly to flex when encountering alterations in flooring level. Also provided are large side wheels which reduce the force necessary to push the dolly over a bump or onto a floor which is at a higher elevation. When one support is not carrying a container, the support can be rotated with the hinge to a point at which it is approximately perpendicular to the adjacent support and thereby approximately vertical to the floor. Rotating one support to an approximately vertical position shortens the dolly footprint and aids in storage. Moreover, a support which is rotated to an approximately vertical position can be temporarily maintained in that position by a lock.
