Abstract
The golf alignment device of this invention is an adjustable frame, comprising a first side of said frame marked with indicia for positioning the forward foot of the golfer and being marked with indicia for placement of the rear foot according to the club to be used; a slotted second side of the frame extending from the end of the first side of the frame nearest the forward foot, which second side bears indicia for placement of the golf ball; a slotted third side extending from the other end of the first side; a fourth side joined to the ends of the second and third sides to form a frame; a first ball marker arm extending from the second side and within the frame, which arm is perpendicular to the second side and a pivotal second marker arm extending within the frame from the first side, the second marker arm being disposed such that an imaginary line extending from the center of its terminal end within the frame intersects a point just beyond the terminal end of the first marker arm situated within the frame.

6440004 - Golf stance and alignment device

A golf positioning and alignment device having a housing unit, guidance strips and spring loaded wound strip dispensers. More specifically, the present invention is a golf positioning and alignment device having three independently retractable guidance strips all contained within and mounted at the apexes of a substantially triangular housing unit. Each guidance strip is capable of being manually extended to a user-specified position and selectably locked or secured therein. The guidance strips are pulled through apertures or slits in the housing unit, wherein two opposing strips are pulled perpendicular to the golfer's stance and wherein the third strip is pulled forward and secured proximal the golf ball.

6669575 - Golf shot shaper training aid

An improved golf training aid for right handed or left handed golfers that conditions the golfer through repetition and muscle memory to hit straight shots, controlled fade shots in varying degrees, and controlled draw shots in varying degrees without the need to use different golf swings for each shot or a different grip for each shot. The target arrow (12) is aimed at a chosen target and held into place by means of spikes (16). The invention aligns the golfers feet correctly for each shot by means of a body alignment shaft (60) and positions the golf ball correctly in relation to the golfers stance by means of a heel alignment block (50). The distance the golfers feet are from the ball is set by moving the heel alignment block (50) and the body alignment shaft (60) assembly either up or down the shot selection indicator shaft (40). Varying degrees of the fade and draw shots are achieved by simply rotating the shot selection indicator shaft (40) to the desired shot selection hole (14) and securing with a wing nut (38).

6723003 - Golf stance coordinator template and method for using the same

A golf stance coordinator template and method for using the same is provided for establishing and documenting a correct stance and for repeated positioning of the golf ball when utilizing assorted golf clubs. The device includes a foot positioning template having an E-shaped configuration when assembled for use. The foot positioning template includes first, second, and third vertical foot marker members which are pivotally secured to a horizontal foot marker member. The foot positioning template folds into an I-shaped configuration for ease in transportability. Indicia are provided to serve as golf stance indicator markers.

6821210 - Golf aiming and alignment training mat

The present invention provides an L-shaped golf training mat for improving a golfer's aiming and alignment skills. The mat comprises positioning-aiming markings, which markings are longitudinally and latitudinally aligned on the superior mat surface for enabling the golfer to visualize an effective ball-placement-zone distally removed from the L-shaped mat and defined by distally extending and laterally extending zone lines collinear with the positioning-aiming markings. Further, the present invention provides an auxiliary alignment blade removably attachable to the mat for enabling the golfer to align and aim golf shots for variably controlled golf ball flight trajectories. The blade comprises reference markings which function in cooperative association with positioning-aiming markings on the superior mat surface for enabling a golfer to align and aim for variably controlled golf ball flight trajectories.

7468010 - Apparatus and method for training a baseball player to hit a baseball

An apparatus for training a batter to hit a baseball with proper swing mechanics by controlling swing stride through tactile and proprioceptive feedback. The apparatus includes a base positionable on a ground surface adjacent to a hitting area and posterior to the batter standing on the ground surface. A stride limiter is adjustably attached to the base and transversely extends toward the hitting area adjacent a leading foot of the batter. The base and the stride limiter define a stride boundary for the batter during a swing, such that a negative feedback is provided to the batter during the swing if the batter's leading foot exceeds the stride boundary and contacts the apparatus and a positive feedback is provided to the batter during the swing if the batter's leading foot stays within the stride boundary and does not contact the apparatus. The apparatus may be configured with two stride limiters such that it can be positioned on either side of the hitting area to accommodate both right and left handed batters.
